## Micah Chapter 7

###### Micah 7:1

אַ֣לְלַי לִ֗י כִּ֤י הָיִ֙יתִי֙ כְּאׇסְפֵּי־קַ֔יִץ כְּעֹלְלֹ֖ת בָּצִ֑יר אֵין־אֶשְׁכּ֣וֹל לֶאֱכ֔וֹל בִּכּוּרָ֖ה אִוְּתָ֥ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Woe is me! for I am like the last of the summer fruits, like the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat, no first ripe fruit that my soul desires.


###### Micah 7:2

אָבַ֤ד חָסִיד֙ מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְיָשָׁ֥ר בָּאָדָ֖ם אָ֑יִן כֻּלָּם֙ לְדָמִ֣ים יֶאֱרֹ֔בוּ אִ֥ישׁ אֶת־אָחִ֖יהוּ יָצ֥וּדוּ חֵֽרֶם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is no upright one among men: they all lie in wait for blood; each man hunts his brother with a net.


###### Micah 7:3

עַל־הָרַ֤ע כַּפַּ֙יִם֙ לְהֵיטִ֔יב הַשַּׂ֣ר שֹׁאֵ֔ל וְהַשֹּׁפֵ֖ט בַּשִּׁלּ֑וּם וְהַגָּד֗וֹל דֹּבֵ֨ר הַוַּ֥ת נַפְשׁ֛וֹ ה֖וּא וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Their hands are upon that which is evil, to do it diligently; the prince asks, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul: and so they weave the web.


###### Micah 7:4

טוֹבָ֣ם כְּחֵ֔דֶק יָשָׁ֖ר מִמְּסוּכָ֑ה י֤וֹם מְצַפֶּ֙יךָ֙ פְּקֻדָּתְךָ֣ בָ֔אָה עַתָּ֥ה תִהְיֶ֖ה מְבוּכָתָֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy punishment comes; now shall their perplexity come.


###### Micah 7:5

אַל־תַּאֲמִ֣ינֽוּ בְרֵ֔עַ אַֽל־תִּבְטְח֖וּ בְּאַלּ֑וּף מִשֹּׁכֶ֣בֶת חֵיקֶ֔ךָ שְׁמֹ֖ר פִּתְחֵי־פִֽיךָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Trust not in a friend, put not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lies in thy bosom.


###### Micah 7:6

כִּי־בֵן֙ מְנַבֵּ֣ל אָ֔ב בַּ֚ת קָמָ֣ה בְאִמָּ֔הּ כַּלָּ֖ה בַּחֲמֹתָ֑הּ אֹיְבֵ֥י אִ֖ישׁ אַנְשֵׁ֥י בֵיתֽוֹ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For the son dishonours the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.


###### Micah 7:7

וַֽאֲנִי֙ בַּיהֹוָ֣ה אֲצַפֶּ֔ה אוֹחִ֖ילָה לֵאלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֑י יִשְׁמָעֵ֖נִי אֱלֹהָֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.


###### Micah 7:8

אַֽל־תִּשְׂמְחִ֤י אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ לִ֔י כִּ֥י נָפַ֖לְתִּי קָ֑מְתִּי כִּֽי־אֵשֵׁ֣ב בַּחֹ֔שֶׁךְ יְהֹוָ֖ה א֥וֹר לִֽי׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.


###### Micah 7:9

זַ֤עַף יְהֹוָה֙ אֶשָּׂ֔א כִּ֥י חָטָ֖אתִי ל֑וֹ עַד֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֤יב רִיבִי֙ וְעָשָׂ֣ה מִשְׁפָּטִ֔י יוֹצִיאֵ֣נִי לָא֔וֹר אֶרְאֶ֖ה בְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.


###### Micah 7:10

וְתֵרֶ֤א אֹיַ֙בְתִּי֙ וּתְכַסֶּ֣הָ בוּשָׁ֔ה הָאֹמְרָ֣ה אֵלַ֔י אַיּ֖וֹ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יִךְ עֵינַי֙ תִּרְאֶ֣ינָּה בָּ֔הּ עַתָּ֛ה תִּהְיֶ֥ה לְמִרְמָ֖ס כְּטִ֥יט חוּצֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Then my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her; who said to me, Where is the Lord thy God? my eyes shall behold her: now she shall be trodden down as the mire of the streets.


###### Micah 7:11

י֖וֹם לִבְנ֣וֹת גְּדֵרָ֑יִךְ י֥וֹם הַה֖וּא יִרְחַק־חֹֽק׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The day that thy walls are to be rebuilt, that day shall be far removed.


###### Micah 7:12

י֥וֹם הוּא֙ וְעָדֶ֣יךָ יָב֔וֹא לְמִנִּ֥י אַשּׁ֖וּר וְעָרֵ֣י מָצ֑וֹר וּלְמִנִּ֤י מָצוֹר֙ וְעַד־נָהָ֔ר וְיָ֥ם מִיָּ֖ם וְהַ֥ר הָהָֽר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
But there shall be a day when they shall come to thee from Ashshur, and from the cities of Mażor, and from Mażor even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.


###### Micah 7:13

וְהָיְתָ֥ה הָאָ֛רֶץ לִשְׁמָמָ֖ה עַל־יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ מִפְּרִ֖י מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.


###### Micah 7:14

רְעֵ֧ה עַמְּךָ֣ בְשִׁבְטֶ֗ךָ צֹ֚אן נַחֲלָתֶ֔ךָ שֹׁכְנִ֣י לְבָדָ֔ד יַ֖עַר בְּת֣וֹךְ כַּרְמֶ֑ל יִרְע֥וּ בָשָׁ֛ן וְגִלְעָ֖ד כִּימֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Tend thy people with thy staff, the flock of thy heritage, who dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Karmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gil῾ad, as in the days of old.


###### Micah 7:15

כִּימֵ֥י צֵאתְךָ֖ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אַרְאֶ֖נּוּ נִפְלָאֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
As in the days of thy coming out of the land of Miżrayim I will show him marvellous things.


###### Micah 7:16

יִרְא֤וּ גוֹיִם֙ וְיֵבֹ֔שׁוּ מִכֹּ֖ל גְּבוּרָתָ֑ם יָשִׂ֤ימוּ יָד֙ עַל־פֶּ֔ה אׇזְנֵיהֶ֖ם תֶּחֱרַֽשְׁנָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.


###### Micah 7:17

יְלַחֲכ֤וּ עָפָר֙ כַּנָּחָ֔שׁ כְּזֹחֲלֵ֣י אֶ֔רֶץ יִרְגְּז֖וּ מִמִּסְגְּרֹֽתֵיהֶ֑ם אֶל־יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ יִפְחָ֔דוּ וְיִֽרְא֖וּ מִמֶּֽךָּ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
They shall lick the dust like a snake, they shall come trembling out of their holes like crawling things of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.


###### Micah 7:18

מִי־אֵ֣ל כָּמ֗וֹךָ נֹשֵׂ֤א עָוֺן֙ וְעֹבֵ֣ר עַל־פֶּ֔שַׁע לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית נַחֲלָת֑וֹ לֹֽא־הֶחֱזִ֤יק לָעַד֙ אַפּ֔וֹ כִּֽי־חָפֵ֥ץ חֶ֖סֶד הֽוּא׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Who is a God like Thee, who pardons iniquity, and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he does not maintain 
					his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy.


###### Micah 7:19

יָשׁ֣וּב יְרַחֲמֵ֔נוּ יִכְבֹּ֖שׁ עֲוֺנֹתֵ֑ינוּ וְתַשְׁלִ֛יךְ בִּמְצֻל֥וֹת יָ֖ם כׇּל־חַטֹּאותָֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
He will again have compassion upon us; he will suppress our iniquities. And thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea;


###### Micah 7:20

תִּתֵּ֤ן אֱמֶת֙ לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב חֶ֖סֶד לְאַבְרָהָ֑ם אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ לַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ מִ֥ימֵי קֶֽדֶם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
thou wilt show truth to Ya῾aqov, loyal love to Avraham, as thou hast sworn to our fathers from days of old.
