**מה ביאתן בימי יהושע כו'.** לא נתבאר בדברי רבינו קידוש זה דבתי ערי חומה במה היה ורש"י בפרק בתרא דערכין (דף ל"ב) כתב דקדשום בשתי תודות ובשיר וב"ד מהלכין דומיא דמאי דאמרינן בפרק ב' דשבועות (דף י"ד) אך רש"י שם (דף י"ו) ד"ה וקדשום כתב לא פורש לי במה מקדשים ערי א"י וכבר הביאו התוספות דברי רש"י הללו בערכין ד"ה וקדשו ועיין במ"ש התוספות פ"ב דשבועות (דף ט"ו) ד"ה ויוצא. כתב מהרימ"ט חי"ד סימן ל"ז דבימי עזרא לא קדשו ערי חומה חוץ מאותם שהיו מוקפות חומה מימות יהושע בן נון יע"ש:
