(א) וכשוד משדי יבוא. הטעם מי יוכל להמלט משוד שיבא מה'. והנגיד ז"ל אמר, כי שוד (צ"ל שדי) תואר, כמו עלי לבי דוי, רק אמר, כי היו"ד תחת אות הכפל, כמו דליו שוק̇ים מפסח, והטעם מתגבר ומנצח, על כן אמר, כי במקום הזה איננו שם הנכבד, וככה, כקול מים רבים, כקול שדי. וככה, והיה שדי בצריך, תקיף (שהבצר שלו יהיה תקיף), והעד וכסף תועפות לך (שיהא ג"כ תקיף, כמו ותועפות ראם לו). וכתיב: ושית על עפר בצר (ראיה על בצריך כדרך חוסן ויקר, והיה החסון), ויפה אמר.

וקריעת הלב, כדרך ומלתם את ערלת לבבכם, וכתוב: ואקרע סגור לבם, והנה הטעם להסיר מכסה הלב לקורעו, כי הוא ימנע, שלא יבין הלב, והטעם להבין האמת, ובעבור זה כתוב: כל ערום יעשה בדעת (ירצה שהוראת ערום מזה, שאין ללבו מכסה, ועד"ז השמן לב העם הזה).

(ג) השמש, יספר קדרות שיהיה לשמש בהתחברה עם הירח, והירח יקדר ויהיה אדום, זה יהיה בהיותו רחוק מראש התלי ומזנבו קרוב משש מעלות, ולכולם הם אותות מלחמה, והיה לאות, כי ימותו עמים רבים.
