###### Nehemiah 11:1

וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ שָׂרֵֽי־הָעָ֖ם בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וּשְׁאָ֣ר הָ֠עָ֠ם הִפִּ֨ילוּ גוֹרָל֜וֹת לְהָבִ֣יא**׀** אֶחָ֣ד מִן־הָעֲשָׂרָ֗ה לָשֶׁ֙בֶת֙ בִּֽירוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ עִ֣יר הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְתֵ֥שַׁע הַיָּד֖וֹת בֶּעָרִֽים׃

And the rulers of the people dwelt at Yerushalayim: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Yerushalayim the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.

Now these are the chiefs of the province who dwelt in Yerushalayim: but in the cities of Yehuda everyone dwelt in his possession in their cities: Yisra᾽el, the priests, and the Levites, and the temple servants, and the children of the servants of Shelomo.

For it was the king’s commandment concerning them, and a certain portion for the singers, as every day required.
