מלמד שנצטרע כו' שהיה פרעה הורגם ונוטל דמם ורוחץ בהם כו'. וכן הוא בשמ"ר פ"א אות ל"ד, בהרחבת דברים. ובלקח טוב מלמד שנצטרע כענין שנאמר אל נא תהי כמת (במדבר י"ב י"ב) ואמרו לו לרחוץ בדם ישראל, והעירוי שם בהערה ק"ד שמקור המאמר נעלם ממני כי רבינו טוביה לא הוציא זה מן המדרש שמ"ר אשר הוא מדרש מאוחר. ונמצא גם בתיב"ע (שמות ב', כ"ג) ואיתכתש [נגע תרגום כתש] מלכא דמצרים ופקיד לקטלא בוכרייא [צ"ל בנייא] דבני ישראל בגין למוסחי באדמיהון ע"ש וכן רש"י על התורה הביא וימת מלך מצרים נצטרע והיה שוחט תינוקות ישראל ורוחץ בדמם ע"כ. ובודאי היה גם לפני רש"י ז"ל באיזה מדרש או בילמדנו הנאבד ע"כ. אולם בילמדנו לא נמצא כי התנחומא הנדפס מכבר על ספר שמות הוא הילדמנו, ואולי נשמט בתנחומא, ונמצא גם בספר הישר ואולי רש"י ולק"ט לקחו דבריהם מדברי רבינו משה הדרשן:
