מלמד שהיה השטן. לק"ט, ועיין שבת פ"ט ע"א, כמין דמות מטתו הראה להם השטן, וכן בתנחומ' כי תשא אות י"ט, ויש אומרים שעמד השטן והראה להם דמות מטתו, ורש"י עה"ת הביא כמין דמות משה הראה להם השטן, וכמו שהובא ל בלק"ט, ועיין בתנחומא שלנו אות י"ג ובהערה פ"א:

מלמד לק"ט, ועיין רש"י עה"ת ומדרשו בוי"ר פ"י ראה שהיה מוכיחם יהרגוהו כו', ועיין סנהדרין ז' ע"א ראה חור זבוח לפניו. ופירש"י ויבן מזבוח הבין מהזבוח לפניו שהרגו את חור, ועיין תנחומ' שלנו כי תשא אות י"ג ובהערה פ"ה:

מכאן אמרו חז"ל מגילה כ"ה ע"ב ומובא בלק"ט" וסיים שמתוך תשובה שהשיב אהרן למשה ואמר ואשליכהו באש ויצא העגל הה כפרו המינין לומר מעצמו יצא, וכבר כתוב ויעשהו עגל מסכה, כלומר הוא עשאו כמין עגל, כאשר בקשו ממנו, ועיין גמר' מגילה שם:
