אעפ"י שהייתי דר עם לבן קיימתי כל התורה כולה גרתי בגמטריא תרי"ג מצות. וזה הביא גם רש"י ד"א גרתי בגימטריא תרי"ג, כלומר עם לבן הרשע גרתי ותרי"ג מצות שמרתי ולא למדתי ממעשיו הרעים. וכן בלקח טוב הביא עם לבן גרתי. מדרש, אמר יעקב אבינו קיימתי כל התורה עם לבן השלמתי תרי"ג מצות מנין גרת"י, וזה לא נמצא בב"ר:
