שנאמר ויהי כראות המלך וגו'. בכ"י מינכען נוסף ויאמר לה המלך למה הנחת ראשך על ראש שפחתך, מה בקשתך כי באת אל החצר הפנימית עד חצי המלכות, אמר רבא עד חצי המלכות ולא דבר שחוצץ במלכות, זה בנין בית המקדש שנקרא טבור הארץ, שכשם שהטבור בחצי הגוף כך בית המקדש בחצי העולם" ע"כ. והנה המאמר למה הנחת ראשך על ראש שפחתך וכו' הוא מיוסיפון בן גוריון, והמאמר אמר רבא הוא מגמרא מגילה דף כ"ו ע"ב, ושם בגמרא חסר שם האומר, והסיום שנקרא טבור האר, הוא הוספת רבינו, ומובא בשמו בספר מנות הלוי דף קמ"ה ע"ב. ועיין ברש"י מגילה ט"ו ע"ב ולא דבר החוצץ במלכות בנין הבית שהוא באמצע של עולם כו':
