יום אחד נכנס אשמדאי מלכא דשידי ואמר לו: "אתה הוא שכתוב עליך: וַיֶּחְכַּם מִכָּל הָאָדָם [מ"א ה' י"א]?"

כיון שראה כן, נשא אשה והוליד ממנה שבעה בנים. ששה מהם בדמות האם ואחד בדמות האב שהיו לו שני ראשים. והיה חורש וקוצר ונעשה עשיר גדול מעשירי העולם. לאחר זמן מת האיש ההוא והניח ירושה לבניו.
