**ולא ישיב אל לבו**שמתחלה צריך להשיב אל לבו ולזכור כל עניניו שנשכחו ממנו כמו שמשיב ומחזיר אליו אדם שעבר ממנו ואח"ז צריך דעת ותבונה לעשות חשבון בנפשו והוא לא הסתכל בעניניו ולא חשב עם נפשו כמ"ש:

**(on the verse "None returns it to heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding")** -- At first one must recall and remember in his heart all the matters that are forgotten from him, as if he recalls and returns a person who left him, and after this one needs knowledge and understanding to do the spiritual accounting with his nefesh but he did not look at his matters nor account with his nefesh.
