**ואיננה סרה מן האדם כו'**כל ימי חייו משא"כ יראת העונש אין לב האדם מתעורר עליו רק בבואו לפעול איזו פעולה לפי שהגמול והעונש הם תלוים במעשים ומסובבים מהם. ומה שאמר לשון כפול איננה סרה ובלתי נפרדת נגד בחינות סור מרע ועשה טוב כשהאדם נזהר מעשות רע אז יראת עונש הרע ההוא סר ממנו ויראת העונש על בלתי עשות טוב אחר שעשה הטוב ההוא בשלימות נפרדה ממנו:

**ברצון הבורא ית'**כלומר הוא מקבל עליו שכפי רצונו יהיה בודאי אם ירצה יתן בלבם לשבחו ואם ירצה יהיה היפך או הכוונה כשהוא עוסק בדבר שהוא רצון הבורא כמו צוות על הטוב ולהזהיר מן הרע שמפרש כי במילי דעלמא בודאי חייב האדם להתרחק מן הכיעור והחשד:

**לבטלה ולא לצורך ולא יחייבהו בה דין**הנה נאמר ונשבעת חי ה' באמת ובמשפט ובצדקה ופירשו שם המפרשים שהשבועה מסורה לאדם לאחד מג' פנים אם כדי לאמת דבריו בפני רעהו וזה מצוי מאד בספורי הכתובים חי ה' אם עשיתי כך או אם לא עשיתי כך והב' אם חייבוהו הב"ד שבועה נגד רעהו בהשפטו והג' אם האדם חפץ לעשות איזה דבר ממעשה הצדק והכשרון והוא ירא שלא ימנעהו יצרו ולכן הוא אוסר עצמו בשבועה כמ"ש נשבעתי ואקימה וכו' ועל ג' בחינות אלו אמר באמת ובמשפט ובצדקה. והנה בכאן בא לשלול הג' כוונות הנ"ל ונגד האמת אמר לבטלה ונגד תועלת התנהגות בצדק אמר וללא צורך כלו' ללא תועלת ונגד המשפט אמר ולא יחייבהו בה דין:
