###### Psalms 101:1

לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר חֶֽסֶד־וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט אָשִׁ֑ירָה לְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֲזַמֵּֽרָה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
A Psalm of David, I will sing of loyal love and justice: to Thee, O Lord, I will sing.

**The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein:**
Of David, a psalm. I shall sing Your justice [("Blessed is the righteous Judge")] as well as [Your] lovingkindness [("Blessed is the Good and the Doer of good")]. [In either event,] to You, O L rd, shall I sing.


###### Psalms 101:2

אַשְׂכִּ֤ילָה**׀** בְּדֶ֬רֶךְ תָּמִ֗ים מָ֭תַי תָּב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑י אֶתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּתׇם־לְ֝בָבִ֗י בְּקֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I will celebrate with a Maskil psalm the way of integrity. O when wilt Thou come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

I shall set my heart upon the way of purity — When shall it come to me [to walk upon it]? I shall walk in the innocence of my heart in the midst of my house [i.e., privately as well as in public].

לֹֽא־אָשִׁ֨ית**׀** לְנֶ֥גֶד עֵינַ֗י דְּֽבַר־בְּלִ֫יָּ֥עַל עֲשֹֽׂה־סֵטִ֥ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי לֹ֖א יִדְבַּ֣ק בִּֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of those who turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

I shall not set before my eyes the work of the faithless one. I have hated the working of perversity; it shall not cleave unto me.

לֵבָ֣ב עִ֭קֵּשׁ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נִּי רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א אֵדָֽע׃

A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil matter.

(מלושני) [מְלׇשְׁנִ֬י] בַסֵּ֨תֶר**׀** רֵעֵהוּ֮ אוֹת֢וֹ אַ֫צְמִ֥ית גְּֽבַהּ־עֵ֭ינַיִם וּרְחַ֣ב לֵבָ֑ב אֹ֝ת֗וֹ לֹ֣א אוּכָֽל׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Whoever secretly slanders his neighbour, him I will cut off: him that has a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

He who slanders his friend in secret, him shall I cut off. The haughty of eye and the broad of heart [i.e., the lustful one], him shall I not endure [(as a friend, so that I not learn from his ways)].


###### Psalms 101:6

עֵינַ֤י**׀** בְּנֶֽאֶמְנֵי־אֶרֶץ֮ לָשֶׁ֢בֶת עִמָּ֫דִ֥י הֹ֭לֵךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ תָּמִ֑ים ה֝֗וּא יְשָׁרְתֵֽנִי׃

My eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walks in the way of integrity, he shall serve me.

My eyes are upon the faithful of the land, to sit with me. He who walks in the way of purity, he shall serve me.


###### Psalms 101:7

לֹֽא־יֵשֵׁ֨ב**׀** בְּקֶ֥רֶב בֵּיתִי֮ עֹשֵׂ֢ה רְמִ֫יָּ֥ה דֹּבֵ֥ר שְׁקָרִ֑ים לֹא־יִ֝כּ֗וֹן לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not remain in my sight.

The worker of deceit shall not sit in the midst of my house. The speaker of lies shall not be suffered before my eyes.


###### Psalms 101:8

לַבְּקָרִ֗ים אַצְמִ֥ית כׇּל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָ֑רֶץ לְהַכְרִ֥ית מֵעִיר־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה כׇּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord.

**The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein:**
In the mornings [i.e., day by day] I shall cut off all the wicked of the land [(the wicked of Israel who are liable to the death penalty)], to cut off from the city of the L rd all workers of iniquity.
