###### Psalms 103:1

לְדָוִ֨ד**׀** בָּרְכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־יְהֹוָ֑ה וְכׇל־קְ֝רָבַ֗י אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם קׇדְשֽׁוֹ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me bless his holy name.

[A psalm] of David. Bless the L rd, my soul, and all my innards, the name of His holiness.

בָּרְכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־יְהֹוָ֑ה וְאַל־תִּ֝שְׁכְּחִ֗י כׇּל־גְּמוּלָֽיו׃

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

who forgives all thy iniquities; who heals all thy diseases;

He forgives all of your sins; he heals all of your ills.

הַגּוֹאֵ֣ל מִשַּׁ֣חַת חַיָּ֑יְכִי הַֽ֝מְעַטְּרֵ֗כִי חֶ֣סֶד וְרַחֲמִֽים׃

who redeems thy life from the pit; who encircles thee with love and compassion;

הַמַּשְׂבִּ֣יעַ בַּטּ֣וֹב עֶדְיֵ֑ךְ תִּתְחַדֵּ֖שׁ כַּנֶּ֣שֶׁר נְעוּרָֽיְכִי׃

who satisfies thy old age with good; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord executes righteousness, and judgment for all that are oppressed.

He made known his ways to Moshe, his acts to the children of Yisra᾽el.

רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֣וּן יְהֹוָ֑ה אֶ֖רֶךְ אַפַּ֣יִם וְרַב־חָֽסֶד׃

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in steadfast love.

###### Psalms 103:9

לֹא־לָנֶ֥צַח יָרִ֑יב וְלֹ֖א לְעוֹלָ֣ם יִטּֽוֹר׃

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger forever.

Not eternally shall He quarrel; not forever shall He bear a grudge.

לֹ֣א כַ֭חֲטָאֵינוּ עָ֣שָׂה לָ֑נוּ וְלֹ֥א כַ֝עֲוֺנֹתֵ֗ינוּ גָּמַ֥ל עָלֵֽינוּ׃

He has not dealt with us after our sins; nor repaid us according to our iniquities.

כִּ֤י כִגְבֹ֣הַּ שָׁ֭מַיִם עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ גָּבַ֥ר חַ֝סְדּ֗וֹ עַל־יְרֵאָֽיו׃

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his steadfast love towards those who fear him.

כִּרְחֹ֣ק מִ֭זְרָח מִֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב הִֽרְחִ֥יק מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ אֶת־פְּשָׁעֵֽינוּ׃

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

כְּרַחֵ֣ם אָ֭ב עַל־בָּנִ֑ים רִחַ֥ם יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה עַל־יְרֵאָֽיו׃

As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear him.

As a father is merciful to his son, so is the L rd merciful to those who fear Him.

כִּי־ה֭וּא יָדַ֣ע יִצְרֵ֑נוּ זָ֝כ֗וּר כִּי־עָפָ֥ר אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃

For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

For He knows our creation [i.e., our origin]; He remembers that we are dust.

אֱ֭נוֹשׁ כֶּחָצִ֣יר יָמָ֑יו כְּצִ֥יץ הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה כֵּ֣ן יָצִֽיץ׃

As for man, his days are like grass: like a flower of the field, so he blooms.

[He knows that] the days of man are like the grass; as the sprouting of the field, so does he sprout.


###### Psalms 103:16

כִּ֤י ר֣וּחַ עָֽבְרָה־בּ֣וֹ וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ וְלֹֽא־יַכִּירֶ֖נּוּ ע֣וֹד מְקוֹמֽוֹ׃

For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and its place knows it no more.

For a "wind" [of illness] passes over him and he is no more, and his place no longer knows him.

וְחֶ֤סֶד יְהֹוָ֨ה**׀** מֵעוֹלָ֣ם וְעַד־ע֭וֹלָם עַל־יְרֵאָ֑יו וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ לִבְנֵ֥י בָנִֽים׃

But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children;

לְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י בְרִית֑וֹ וּלְזֹכְרֵ֥י פִ֝קֻּדָ֗יו לַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃

to such as keep his covenant, and to those who remember his commandments to do them.

To the keepers of His covenant and the rememberers of His commandments, to do them.

יְֽהֹוָ֗ה בַּ֭שָּׁמַיִם הֵכִ֣ין כִּסְא֑וֹ וּ֝מַלְכוּת֗וֹ בַּכֹּ֥ל מָשָֽׁלָה׃

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all.

Bless the Lord, you angels of his, you mighty ones who perform his bidding, hearkening to the voice of his word.

Bless the Lord, all his hosts; you ministers of his, who do his pleasure.
