## Psalms Chapter 133

###### Psalms 133:1

שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּעֲל֗וֹת לְדָ֫וִ֥ד הִנֵּ֣ה מַה־טּ֭וֹב וּמַה־נָּעִ֑ים שֶׁ֖בֶת אַחִ֣ים גַּם־יָֽחַד׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
A Ma῾alot Poem of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

**The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein:**
A song of ascents of David. Behold, how goodly and how pleasant the sitting [of the L rd in the Temple with] brothers [(Israel, who are called "brothers")]; [He] also together [with them].


###### Psalms 133:2

כַּשֶּׁ֤מֶן הַטּ֨וֹב**׀** עַל־הָרֹ֗אשׁ יֹרֵ֗ד עַֽל־הַזָּקָ֥ן זְקַֽן־אַהֲרֹ֑ן שֶׁ֝יֹּרֵ֗ד עַל־פִּ֥י מִדּוֹתָֽיו׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aharon: running down over the hem of his garments:

As the goodly [anointing] oil upon the head [of Aaron (conferring grandeur)], descending upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, descending [thence] upon his vestments

כְּטַל־חֶרְמ֗וֹן שֶׁיֹּרֵד֮ עַל־הַרְרֵ֢י צִ֫יּ֥וֹן כִּ֤י שָׁ֨ם**׀** צִוָּ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה אֶת־הַבְּרָכָ֑ה חַ֝יִּ֗ים עַד־הָעוֹלָֽם׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
like the dew of Ḥermon descending upon the mountains of Żiyyon: for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

is the dew of Chermon descending upon the hills of Zion; for there [(in Zion)] did the L rd command blessing, life forevermore.
