###### Psalms 18:1

לַמְנַצֵּ֤חַ**׀** לְעֶ֥בֶד יְהֹוָ֗ה לְדָ֫וִ֥ד אֲשֶׁ֤ר דִּבֶּ֨ר**׀** לַיהֹוָ֗ה אֶת־דִּ֭בְרֵי הַשִּׁירָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את בְּי֤וֹם הִֽצִּיל־יְהֹוָ֘ה־אוֹת֥וֹ מִכַּ֥ף כׇּל־אֹ֝יְבָ֗יו וּמִיַּ֥ד שָׁאֽוּל׃

To the chief Musician, of David, the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Sha᾽ul:

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

מְ֭הֻלָּל אֶקְרָ֣א יְהֹוָ֑ה וּמִן־אֹ֝יְבַ֗י אִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃

He is worthy to be praised: I will call upon the Lord: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, into his ears.

וַתִּגְעַ֬שׁ וַתִּרְעַ֨שׁ**׀** הָאָ֗רֶץ וּמוֹסְדֵ֣י הָרִ֣ים יִרְגָּ֑זוּ וַ֝יִּתְגָּֽעֲשׁ֗וּ כִּי־חָ֥רָה לֽוֹ׃

Then the earth shook and trembled; and the foundations of the hills moved and were shaken, because of his anger.

The earth trembled and rumbled and the foundations of the mountains shook and shivered when His wrath burned [(in coming to take vengeance of Pharaoh for His people)].

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a shield to all those who trust in him.

Thou hast also given me the shield of Thy salvation: and Thy right hand has supported me and Thy condescension has made me great.

I have pursued my enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
