###### Psalms 26:1

לְדָוִ֨ד**׀** שׇׁפְטֵ֤נִי יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּֽי־אֲ֭נִי בְּתֻמִּ֣י הָלַ֑כְתִּי וּבַיהֹוָ֥ה בָּ֝טַ֗חְתִּי לֹ֣א אֶמְעָֽד׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Of David. Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in my integrity: and I have trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.

[A psalm] of David. [When You judge the wicked,] O L rd, judge me, for I have walked in my innocence [(and relative to them I am righteous)]; I shall not slip.

בְּחָנֵ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֣ה וְנַסֵּ֑נִי (צרופה) [צׇרְפָ֖ה] כִלְיוֹתַ֣י וְלִבִּֽי׃

כִּֽי־חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָ֑י וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃

For Thy loyal love is before my eyes: and I have walked in Thy truth.

לֹֽא־יָ֭שַׁבְתִּי עִם־מְתֵי־שָׁ֑וְא וְעִ֥ם נַ֝עֲלָמִ֗ים לֹ֣א אָבֽוֹא׃

I have not sat with vain persons, neither do I enter the company of dissemblers.

I have not sat with vain men, and I have not come together with hidden ones [i.e., those who sin in secret].

שָׂ֭נֵאתִי קְהַ֣ל מְרֵעִ֑ים וְעִם־רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים לֹ֣א אֵשֵֽׁב׃

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and I do not sit with the wicked.

אֶרְחַ֣ץ בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן כַּפָּ֑י וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣ יְהֹוָֽה׃

I wash my hands in innocency: so I compass Thy altar, O Lord:

לַ֭שְׁמִעַ בְּק֣וֹל תּוֹדָ֑ה וּ֝לְסַפֵּ֗ר כׇּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

that I may sound the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Thy wondrous works.

יְֽהֹוָ֗ה אָ֭הַבְתִּי מְע֣וֹן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וּ֝מְק֗וֹם מִשְׁכַּ֥ן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃

Lord, I love the habitation of Thy house, and the place where Thy glory dwells.

אַל־תֶּאֱסֹ֣ף עִם־חַטָּאִ֣ים נַפְשִׁ֑י וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁ֖י דָמִ֣ים חַיָּֽי׃

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶ֥ם זִמָּ֑ה וִ֝ימִינָ֗ם מָ֣לְאָה שֹּֽׁחַד׃

רַ֭גְלִי עָמְדָ֣ה בְמִישׁ֑וֹר בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ יְהֹוָֽה׃{פ}

My foot stands in an even place: in the congregations I will bless the Lord.
