###### Psalms 28:1

לְדָוִ֡ד אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ יְהֹוָ֨ה**׀** אֶקְרָ֗א צוּרִי֮ אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַ֢שׁ מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי פֶּן־תֶּחֱשֶׁ֥ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי עִם־י֥וֹרְדֵי בֽוֹר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Of David. To Thee I will cry, O Lord; my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like those who go down into the pit.

[A psalm] of David. To you, O L rd, shall I call. My Rock, do not be silent to me; lest You be silent to me and I be reckoned with those who go down to the grave.

שְׁמַ֤ע ק֣וֹל תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י אֵלֶ֑יךָ בְּנׇשְׂאִ֥י יָ֝דַ֗י אֶל־דְּבִ֥יר קׇדְשֶֽׁךָ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to Thee, when I lift up my hands towards Thy holy sanctuary.

Hear the sound of my supplications when I cry out to You, when I lift my hands [in prayer] to the sanctum of Your holiness.

אַל־תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי עִם־רְשָׁעִים֮ וְעִם־פֹּ֢עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן דֹּבְרֵ֣י שָׁ֭לוֹם עִם־רֵעֵיהֶ֑ם וְ֝רָעָ֗ה בִּלְבָבָֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Drag me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbours, but there is evil in their hearts.

Do not league me with the wicked and with doers of wrong, who speak peace with their friends and evil in their hearts.

תֶּן־לָהֶ֣ם כְּפׇעֳלָם֮ וּכְרֹ֢עַ מַעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְ֭דֵיהֶם תֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֑ם הָשֵׁ֖ב גְּמוּלָ֣ם לָהֶֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

Requite them according to their acts and according to the evil of their deeds. Requite them according to the work of their hands. Give them their recompense.

כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָבִ֡ינוּ אֶל־פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה וְאֶל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדָ֑יו יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִבְנֵֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Because they give no heed to the works of the Lord, nor to the operation of his hands, he will destroy them, and not build them up.

For they do not give heart to the acts of the L rd and to the work of His hands — Let Him destroy them and not build them up [again].

בָּר֥וּךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּי־שָׁ֝מַ֗ע ק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃

יְהֹוָ֤ה**׀** עֻזִּ֥י וּמָגִנִּי֮ בּ֤וֹ בָטַ֥ח לִבִּ֗י וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז לִבִּ֑י וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song I will praise him.

יְהֹוָ֥ה עֹֽז־לָ֑מוֹ וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז יְשׁוּע֖וֹת מְשִׁיח֣וֹ הֽוּא׃

The Lord is a strength to them, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

The L rd is strength to them [Israel] and the strength of the salvation of His anointed one.

הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה**׀** אֶת־עַמֶּ֗ךָ וּבָרֵ֥ךְ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ וּֽרְעֵ֥ם וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם עַד־הָעוֹלָֽם׃{פ}

Save Thy people, and bless Thy inheritance: and shepherd them, and carry them forever.
