מִזְמ֥וֹר שִׁ֗יר לְי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃

ט֗וֹב לְהֹד֥וֹת לַיהֹוָ֑ה וּלְזַמֵּ֖ר לְשִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praise to Thy name, O most High:

לְהַגִּ֣יד בַּבֹּ֣קֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וֶ֝אֱמ֥וּנָתְךָ֗ בַּלֵּילֽוֹת׃

to relate Thy steadfast love in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night,

To tell Your lovingkindness in the "morning" [(at the redemption)] and Your trust at night [(in the darkness of the exile)].

עֲֽלֵי־עָ֭שׂוֹר וַעֲלֵי־נָ֑בֶל עֲלֵ֖י הִגָּי֣וֹן בְּכִנּֽוֹר׃

upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the harp; to the melody of the lyre.

כִּ֤י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּפׇעֳלֶ֑ךָ בְּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣יךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן׃

For Thou, Lord, hast made me glad through Thy work: I will triumph in the works of Thy hands.

O Lord, how great are Thy works! and Thy thoughts are very deep.

אִֽישׁ־בַּ֭עַר לֹ֣א יֵדָ֑ע וּ֝כְסִ֗יל לֹא־יָבִ֥ין אֶת־זֹֽאת׃

A brutish man does not know; nor does a fool understand this.

An empty man will not know, and a fool will not comprehend this —

בִּפְרֹ֤חַ רְשָׁעִ֨ים**׀** כְּמ֥וֹ־עֵ֗שֶׂב וַ֭יָּצִיצוּ כׇּל־פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן לְהִשָּׁמְדָ֥ם עֲדֵי־עַֽד׃

When the wicked spring like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed forever:

When the wicked sprout as grass and all the doers of iniquity flourish, it is so that they be destroyed for all eternity [(G d paying them to their faces to destroy them in the end)].

וְאַתָּ֥ה מָר֗וֹם לְעֹלָ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה׃

but Thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

And You are exalted [in all of Your judgments] forever, O L rd, [all vindicating Your justice].

כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה אֹיְבֶ֡יךָ יְֽהֹוָ֗ה כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה אֹיְבֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ יִ֝תְפָּרְד֗וּ כׇּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃

For, lo, Thy enemies, O Lord, for lo, Thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

###### Psalms 92:11

וַתָּ֣רֶם כִּרְאֵ֣ים קַרְנִ֑י בַּ֝לֹּתִ֗י בְּשֶׁ֣מֶן רַעֲנָֽן׃

But my horn shalt Thou exalt like the horn of a wild ox: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

But You have exalted my horn as [that of] the re'em [(a majestic beast)], anointing me in fragrant oil [(of dominion)].

וַתַּבֵּ֥ט עֵינִ֗י בְּשׁ֫וּרָ֥י בַּקָּמִ֖ים עָלַ֥י מְרֵעִ֗ים תִּשְׁמַ֥עְנָה אׇזְנָֽי׃

My eye has seen the downfall of my enemies, and my ears have heard the doom of the wicked who rise against me.

My eye has seen [the downfall] of those who eye me [for evil]. Of the wicked who rise against me, my ears have heard [(from behind the "Divine Curtain") that they will not be able to destroy us].


###### Psalms 92:13

צַ֭דִּיק כַּתָּמָ֣ר יִפְרָ֑ח כְּאֶ֖רֶז בַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן יִשְׂגֶּֽה׃

The righteous man flourishes like the palm tree: he grows like a cedar in the Levanon.

The righteous one shall be fruitful as the date-palm. As the cedar in Levanon [(which renews its trunk)] shall he tower.


###### Psalms 92:14

שְׁ֭תוּלִים בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה בְּחַצְר֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ׃

Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Planted [shall they be] in the house of the L rd; in the courts of our G d will they flourish.


###### Psalms 92:15

ע֭וֹד יְנוּב֣וּן בְּשֵׂיבָ֑ה דְּשֵׁנִ֖ים וְֽרַעֲנַנִּ֣ים יִהְיֽוּ׃

They still bring forth fruit in old age; they are fat and flourishing;

They will bloom even more in [their] old age. Fertile and fresh will they be.


###### Psalms 92:16

לְ֭הַגִּיד כִּֽי־יָשָׁ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה צ֝וּרִ֗י וְֽלֹא־[עַוְלָ֥תָה] (עלתה) בּֽוֹ׃{פ}

to declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

To tell that the L rd is just. He is my rock; there is no wrong in Him.
