**שיר.** הנה כשיצוה ה' לכם את הברכה, ברכוהו גם אתם בתהילתכם כל אחד כפי שכלו:

**כל עבדי ה'.** הם החכמים והחסידים העומדים ממטתם בלילות ובאים להתפלל בבית ה' ולהודות על שמו:

**קדש.** במקום הקודש: ופי' **שאו ידיכם.** נשיאות כפים שהיו הכהנים נושאים כפיהם ומברכים את ישראל ולפי דעתי כי פי' נשיאות ידים לאל בתפלה, ויתכן לפרש קדש כמו אל מקום הקודש:

**יברכך.** לדעת המפרשים יהיה פירושו שהכהנים יאמרו לישראל בברכתם יברכך, ולפי דעתי הם דברי המשורר שאמר ברכו את ה' אמר אם תברכוהו הוא יברך אתכם ופי' **מציון.** כי שם הכבוד ומשם תבא הברכה לכל ישראל.

May the Lord bless you – According to the opinion of the commentators, this is referring to the priests who said to Israel in their blessing “may the Lord bless you.” According to my explanation, these are the words of the Psalmist who said ‘bless the Lord,’ meaning: if you bless Him, He will bless you. The explanation of ‘Zion’ is: there is the glory and from there blessing comes to all of Israel and all the land.

ואמר **עושה שמים וארץ.** כלומר עושה השמים שנותנים הברכה בעולם והוא עשה הארץ שתתן יבולה לברכה כאשר יצוה הוא יתברך:

It says ‘who made heaven and earth’ in order to say that He whom made the heavens which bring blessing to the world, and made the earth that gives its produce as a blessing, as He commands so He is blessed.
