(ג) אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני בזוהר מאן דאתעדן על פתוריה אית ליה לאדכרא ולדאג על קדושא דארעא קדישא ועל היכלא דמלכא דאתחריב ובגין ההוא עציבו דאיהו קמתעצב על פתוריה קב״ה חשיב עליה כאלו בנה ביתיה ובנה כל אינון חורבי בי מקדשא זכאה חולקיה עכ״ל:

(ד) מסכת ברכות אין עומדין להתפלל אלא מתוך כובד ראש פרש״י הכנעה הפך קלות ראש שנא׳ עבדו את ה׳ ביראה וגילו ברעדה פירוש במקום גילה שם תהא רעדה בבית חתונה או מילה פן יחטא מפני שמחת לבו שישכח:

(ה) ולא מתוך עצבות דמילי דעלמא אלא מתוך שמחה של מצוה ששש ועלז שזוכה לעבוד למלך שאין כמותו בעולם כדאיתא במדרש אך מצד שני עצב ומיצר על מה שהכעיסו תחלה:

(ו) גם בכלל עבדו את ה׳ ביראה עבודת הצדקה וכל מצוה ומצוה שעל קיום כולם כתוב עלינו כי לי בני ישראל עבדים ונעבוד כל מצוה במורא ולא בקלות ראש:

(ז) מצוה מד״ק שיהא אדם נבזה בעיניו נמאס ואת יראי ה׳ יכבד פי׳ שידמה עצמו נבזה ונמאס אבל לאחרים כל מי שיודע בו שהוא ירא שמים יהיה חשוב ונכבד מאד בעיניו ויכוף ראשו אליו:

(ח) שנו במס׳ אבות והוי שפל רוח בפני כל אדם פי׳ שכל אדם יהיה בעיניו גדול ממנו ויבוש מפניו ויפחד ממנו רמב״ן:

(ט) יחשוב האדם הדיבור קודם שיוציאנו מפיו בתפלה וכן בכל דיבור אשר ידבר לכל אדם ואז לא יחטא שנא׳ לב צדיק יהגה לענות ופי רשעים יביע רעות רמב״ן ורבינו יונה הרא״ש:

(כא) הוי זהיר במצוה קלה כבחמורה והוי מחשב הפסד מצוה כנגד שכרה ושכר עבירה כנגד הפסדה:

(כז) לערוך מחשבות ביראת ה׳ תמיד וכתכ רבינו יונה נאמר על האנשים שאינם עורכים מחשבות להתבונן תמיד ביראת ה׳ ותהי יראתם אותי מצות אנשים מלומדה לכן הנני יוסף להפליא העם הזה הפלא ופלא ונאמר מדוע דרך רשעים צלחה קרוב אתה בפיהם ורחוק מכליותיהם וכתיב כי הנה רחקיך יאבדו:

(כח) לקנא ביראי ה׳ להיות כמותם שנאמר אל יקנא לבך בחטאים כי אם ביראת ה׳ כל היום כלומר באנשי יראי ה׳ יש לך לקנאות להיות כמותם כדמפרש ראב״ע וכן פי׳ רש״י בפ״ק דברכות וכדאמרו קנאת סופרים תרבה חכמה וכתיב הן יראת ה׳ היא חכמה:

(לא) צוו שיתן עול השכינה תמיד על ראשו ד׳ אותיות שמו יתברך מאירות יו״ד דחילו ה״א רחימו, וא״ו תורה וענוה. ה״א מצוה ושמחה דכתיב שום תשים עליך מלך שתהא אימתו עליך רמז למלך החי וקיים לעד וכתיב וה׳ בראשם ולעתיד יגלה לעיני הכל דכתיב וה׳ עליהם יראה וכתיב וראו כל עמי הארץ כי שם ה׳ נקרא עליך ולהכי אמרי לא אזיל בגילוי הראש אמר שכינה למעלה מראשי וידמה כי הוא מרכבה וכסא לו ית׳ אדם ט׳ במספר קטן וכן כסא ודעתו תמיד על אותו האור החופף עליו כל היום דכתיב החכם עיניו בראשו ופירשו באור שעל ראשו עיני שכלו וע״ז אמרו האבות הם הם המרכבה וד׳ יסודות הם כנגד ד׳ מחנות שכינה ורמ״ח איבריו כנגד רמ״ח מלאכים דמתלבשת בהם השכינה והאיש אשר אלה לו קדוש יאמר לו כאחד מצבא מרום:

(לב) צוו שידבק אדם בדרך טובה ופי׳ דהיא לב טוב ובזה כלול שיהיה הוא עין טוב וחבר טוב נאמן לחבירו ושכן טוב לשכניו שיהיה רואה את הנולד מהמעשה קודם יעשנו ומהדיבור קודם ידברנו:
