**שֶׁלֹּא יֹאכַל עָרֵל מִן הַפֶּסַח** – שֶׁלֹּא יֹאכַל הֶעָרֵל מִן הַפֶּסַח, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (שמות יב מח) וְכָל עָרֵל לֹא יֹאכַל בּוֹ. וְהוּא הֶעָרֵל שֶׁמֵּתוּ אֶחָיו מֵחֲמַת מִילָה, וְאֵין צָרִיךְ לוֹמַר עֲבַרְיָן (מְשֻׁמָּד) לַעֲרֵלוּת, וּבוֹ הוּא דְּאֵינוֹ אוֹכֵל אֲבָל אוֹכֵל הוּא בְּמַצָּה וּמָרוֹר, וְכֵן תּוֹשָׁב וְשָׂכִיר גַּם כֵּן.

**That an uncircumcised man not eat from the Pesach sacrifice:** That the uncircumcised man not eat from the Pesach sacrifice, as it is stated (Exodus 12:48), “and no uncircumcised man shall eat from it.” And that is the uncircumcised man whose brothers have died because of circumcision, and it is not necessary to say [also] the sinner (the apostate) regarding being uncircumcised. And it is “from it” that he shall not eat, but he shall eat from the matsah and the marror. And so [too], the [gentile] resident and wageworker.

מִשָּׁרְשֵׁי מִצְוָה זוֹ. מָה שֶׁכָּתַבְנוּ בְּתוֹשָׁב וְשָׂכִיר.

דִּינֵי הַמִּצְוָה. כְּגוֹן מִילַת בָּנָיו וַעֲבָדָיו אִם מְעַכְּבִין אוֹתוֹ לִשְׁחֹט וְלֶאֱכֹל הַפֶּסַח, וְיֶתֶר פְּרָטֶיהָ מְבֹאָרִים בִּפְסָחִים (שם).

The laws of this commandment — for example, if the [need to administer the] circumcision of his children and his slaves prevents him from slaughtering and eating the Pesach sacrifice; and the rest of its details — are elucidated in *Pesachim*.

וְנוֹהֶגֶת בִּזְמַן הַבַּיִת. וְהָעוֹבֵר עָלֶיהָ, כְּגוֹן עָרֵל שֶׁאָכַל כַּזַּיִת מִמֶּנּוּ, לוֹקֶה.

And [it] is practiced at the time of the [Temple]. And one who transgresses it — for example, an uncircumcised man who eats a *kazayit* from it — is lashed.
