היא שצוה להרוג אנשי עיר הנדחת כלה ולשרוף את העיר עם כל מה שבה וזהו דין עיר הנדחת. והוא אמרו יתעלה ושרפת באש את העיר ואת כל שללה כליל. וכבר התבאר משפטי מצוה זו בסנהדרין. (ראה, שם פ"ד):

That is that He commanded us to kill all the people of a condemned city (*ir hanidachat*) and to burn the city with everything that is in it. And this is the law of a condemned city. And that is His, may He be exalted, saying, "and you shall burn the city with fire and all its spoil totally" (Deuteronomy 13:17).
