**דיני מצת המצות. ובו ז סעיפים:**
אין לשין מצת מצוה ולא אופין אותה על ידי עכו"ם ולא על ידי חרש שוטה וקטן:

**Mishna Berura Yomi:**
**THE LAWS OF THE MATZOT MITZVAH; SEVEN SECTIONS.** One should not knead or bake the Matzot Mitzvah via a gentile, a deafmute, an imbecile, or a child.

הרא"ש היה משתדל במצת מצוה ועומד על עשיית' ומזרז העוסקים ומסייע בהן בעריכתן וכן ראוי לכל אדם לעשות להטפל הוא בעצמו במצוה:

**Mishna Berura Yomi:**
The R"ASH would personally deliberate on the Matzot Mitzah and oversee the production, inspire those working and assisting them in the flattening [of the dough]. It is similarly fitting for everyone to consign and devote themselves to the Mitzvah.

הלש אחר זמן איסור חמץ יאמר בשעת לישה כל פירורים שיפלו בשעת לישה ועריכה וכן בצק הנדבק בכלים אני מבטל אותם כדי שנמצא שמבטלן קודם חימוצן:

**Mishna Berura Yomi:**
The who kneads after the beginning of the time when leaven is forbidden should say at the time of kneading [regarding] all crumbs which fall at the time of kneading and flattening and dough which clings to the vessels "I am annulling these." This is in order that when they are found, they will have been annulled prior to leavening.

אין עושין סריקין המצויירין דהיינו לצייר בפת כמין חיה ועוף אבל כל מה שעושים אותו במסרק כדי שלא יתפח וכן מה שמנקבין המצות מותר ומ"מ טוב למהר לעשותם שלא להשהות בהן: הגה ויש לעשות המצות רקיקין ולא פת עבה כשאר לחם כי אין הרקיקין ממהרים להחמיץ:

**Mishna Berura Yomi:**
One should not make shaped cakes of dough, which is shaping the bread like a species of animal or bird. Rather, all that one does with a comb so that it will not inflate or poking holes in the Matzot is permitted. Nevertheless, ideally one should expedite doing these things so as not to delay them [Matzot]. *REMA: there are those who make the Matzot wafer-thin and not a thick loaf like other breads, for wafers do not leaven as quickly.*

אין להקל במה שהחמירו הקדמונים שלא לעשות פאנדי"ש או פלדאוני"ש:

**Mishna Berura Yomi:**
One should not be lenient regarding our strict precedent to not make 'Pandeesh' or 'Pladonish' [for Pesach].
