וְזֶהוּ: דַּע – שֶׁבְּכָל דּוֹר וָדוֹר נִתְחַדְּשִׁין בּוֹ חֳלָאִים חֲדָשִׁים רַחֲמָנָא לִצְלָן בִּבְחִינַת (קֹהֶלֶת א): "יוֹסִיף דַּעַת יוֹסִיף מַכְאוֹב".

הַיְנוּ מֵחֲמַת שֶׁבְּכָל דּוֹר שֶׁבָּא מְאֻחָר נִתּוֹסֵף הַדַּעַת שֶׁל הַפִּילוֹסוֹפִים כִּי בְּכָל דּוֹר בָּאִים עַל חָכְמוֹת חֲדָשׁוֹת, וְעַל יְדֵי זֶה יוֹסִיף מַכְאוֹב, שֶׁנִּתְחַדְּשׁוּ חֳלָאִים חֲדָשִׁים רַחֲמָנָא לִצְלָן. ה' יַצִּילֵנוּ.

In every generation, new diseases come into existence. This is a result of the increase in knowledge. Each new discovery [based on philosophical and atheistic knowledge] results in some new pain. These are the new diseases that have come into existence. May God protect us!
