וְאָמַר: עוֹד יִהְיֶה זְמַן שֶׁמִּי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה אִישׁ כָּשֵׁר פָּשׁוּט, יִהְיֶה חִדּוּשׁ גָּדוֹל כְּמוֹ הַבַּעַל־שֵׁם־טוֹב ז"ל.

The Rebbe also said, “There will come a time when a simple, religious person will be as rare and unique as the Baal Shem Tov.”⁴⁸ #454. This refers to one who even washes his hands before a meal (*Sichot VeSipurim*, p. 76, #6).
