**ותסיתני בו לבלעו חנם:** שואל, אם כן לא בדין נענש, אלא מחמת דיבורו של המקטרג שהסיתו והטה אותו. ומשיב, אלא הכל היה בדין, וכן אמר לו אליהוא, כי פעל אדם ישלם לו וכארח איש ימציאנו. וכן היה, כמו שאמרנו, כמו שהוא גזר על ישראל אצל פרעה, כך נגזר עליו.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
And you incited me against him to devour him in vain. Ask, if so, was he not punished justly, but because of the word of the accuser who incited and misled him? And answer: But it was all by judgment, and thus Elihu said to him: "For a man is rewarded according to his deeds, and according to the way of a man he shall be repaid." And so it was, as we have said, as he decreed concerning Israel concerning Pharaoh, so it was decreed concerning him.
