קנט) **שמיא דשלטין תמן** וכו': השמים השולטים שם אינם כאלו השמים שלנו, ואין הארץ מולידה בכחם, זרע וקציר כאלו שלנו, ואין הזרעים חוזרים לצמוח, אלא בכמה שנים וזמנים. והם שנאמר עליהם, **אלהיא די שמיא וארקא לא עבדו יאבדו מארעא**, העליונה הנקראת תבל, שלא ישלטו בה, ולא ישוטטו בה, ולא יהיו גורמים לבני אדם להטמא ממקרה לילה. ועל כן **יאבדו מארעא ומן תחות שמיא** שנעשו בהשם **אל"ה**, (עי' לעיל אות י"ד) כמו שלמדנו.

**159. “The heavens that govern there, etc.”**
**The heavens that govern there are not like our heavens, and the land does not produce seed and harvesting through their strength, like ours, and nor do** the seeds grow **again, but only every several years and seasons. They are** the ones about whom it is stated: **“The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth”** [i. e., from the] **higher** [earth]**, which is** called ***tevel*. For they will not govern it, nor roam it, nor will they cause people to be defiled by nocturnal emission. Therefore, “these shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens”** [Jeremiah 10:11] – **those who were made with the name *eleh*** (see section #14#, above), **as we learned.**

פירוש. כי השמים שלנו מקבלים מז"א, שיש לו מוחין דהולדה, וע"כ הארץ שלנו המקבלת בנוקבא שלו, היא מקבלת זרע וקציר. אבל שמים ד**ארקא** אין להם מוחין דהולדה בסבת שליטת הקליפות אשר שם, וע"כ **ולא אולידת ארעא בחילא דלהון זרועא וחצדא כהני**, שאין כח בארץ לקבל זרע להוציא תבואות וקציר כנהוג בארצנו **ולא אהדרן אלא בכמה שנין וזמנין** כי לא יצמח הזרע שמזריעין שם אלא רק בכמה שנים וזמנים.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
Explanation: Our heavens receive from *Ze’er Anpin*, which possesses brains of reproduction. Therefore, our land, which receives through the *Nukba* [of *Ze'er Anpin*], receives seed and harvesting. However, the heavens of ***arka*** have no brains of reproduction, due to the domination of the *kelippot* that are there. Accordingly, **“the land does not produce seed and harvesting through their strength, like ours,”** since there is no power in the land to receive seed that would produce crops and harvests, as normally occurs in our land. **“And nor do** [the seeds grow] **again, but only every several years and seasons,”** i. e., the seed that is planted there grows only once every several years and seasons.

ומ"ש, **ואינון אלהא די שמיא וארקא לא עבדו** וכו': קאי על אותם ב' הממונים **עפרירון וקסטימון**, שהם **אלהא די שמיא וארקא לא עבדו**, כלומר, שלא יכלו לתקן ה**שמיא וארקא** שתהא ראויה להוציא פירות, ע"כ אין להם רשות לשוטט ולהחטיא אנשים בארץ שלנו שהיא **תבל**. כי בהמצאם כאן, הם מחבלים גם את ארצנו להיות כמו **שמים וארקא** שלהם.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
That which [the *Zohar*] states, **“The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth,”** is referring to those two appointed [angels] **Afrira and Kastimon** [see section #155#], who are **“the gods that have not made the heavens and the earth** [*arka*].” That is, they are unable to rectify **the heavens and the *arka*,** to render them fit for producing fruit. Consequently, they have no permission to roam and cause people in our land, which is ***tevel*,** to sin. This is because when they are here [in our world], they damage our land as well, to become like their **heavens and *arka*.**

וז"ש **יאבדו מארעא עלאה דתבל**, שיאבדו מהארץ שלנו הנקראת **תבל**, שלא ישלטו בה, ולא ישוטטו בה, ולא יגרמו לאנשים שיטמאו במקרה לילה. כי על ידי השוטטות שלהם ב**תבל** שלנו גורמים למחטי **בני נשא במקרה ליליא**, שהוא הקללה הרובצת על **ארקא** מחמת שליטתם שם.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
The *Zohar* continues: **“These shall perish from the earth,** [i. e., from the] **higher one, which is *tevel*,”** i. e., they will perish from our earth, which is called ***tevel*,** “for they will not govern it, nor roam it, nor will they cause people to be defiled by nocturnal emission.” When they roam in our ***tevel*,** they cause people to sin **“by nocturnal emission,”** which is the curse that hangs over ***arka*,** on account of their dominion there.

ומתחת השמים שלנו שנעשו בשם **אל"ה**, כי השמים שלנו מקבלים מזו"ן המתוקנים **בשמא דאל"ה כמא דאתמר**, דהיינו בסוד **בראשית ברא אלהים**, ש**מ"י** אשתתף ב**אל"ה**, וע"כ הארץ שלנו מתוקנת ג"כ בקדושה עלאה. כי ברזא דא אתקיים עלמא. (כנ"ל אות ט"ו). וע"כ אין רשות לאלו ב' הממונים לשוטט כאן.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
[They will thus perish from the earth] under our heavens, “which were made with the name *eleh*.” Our heavens receive from [*Ze’er Anpin*] and *Nukba*, which were established **“with the name *eleh*, as we learned”** in the mystical meaning of: “In the beginning God created” [Genesis 1:1], that ***Mi*** combined with ***eleh*.** Therefore, our land is also established with supernal holiness, as it is through that secret [of *Mi* and *eleh*] that the world exists (as stated in section #15#, above). For this reason, those two appointed [angels] have no permission to roam here.
