רל) **גדפא ימינא אית** וכו': הכנף הימנית, של המלכות, יש לה שני מסדרונות, שהם מתחלקים מכנף זו לשתי אומות אחרות, הקרובות לישראל ביחוד, להכניסם לתוך אלו המסדרונות. ותחת הכנף השמאלית יש שני מסדרונות אחרים, שמתחלקים לשתי אומות אחרות, שהם עמון ומואב. וכולם נקראים נפש חיה.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
**230. “The right wing has, etc.”**
**The right wing** of *Malkhut* **has two corridors, which divide from this wing for two other nations that are close to Israel in uniqueness, to bring them into these corridors. Under the left wing there are two other corridors, which divide for two other nations, Ammon and Moab. They are all called “living soul”** [*nefesh ḥaya*].

פירוש. הנה מקודם לכן אומר, שיש **כמה אכסדרין**, וכאן אומר רק ב' ב**ימינא** וב' ב**שמאלא**, הענין הוא כי כאן מדבר רק על הכוללים לבד, שיש **תרין אכסדרין** בימין כוללים לבחינת האומות השייכות לימין, וכן יש ב' **אכסדרין** כוללים בשמאל לאומות השייכות לשמאל.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
Explanation: [The *Zohar*] previously stated that there are **several corridors,** whereas here it says that there are only two on **the right** and two on **the left.** The explanation is that here [the *Zohar*] is speaking only about the encompassing [corridors], [i. e., ] that there are **two corridors** on the right, encompassing the nations that belong to the right, and there are **two** encompassing **corridors** on the left, for the nations that belong to the left.

ואומר שיש **ב' אומות** מסטרא דימינא כוללות לכל האומות שמסטרא דימין, שהן מתיחסות ל**ב' אכסדרין** הכוללים שב**גדפא ימינא**, ולא פירש הזוהר מי הם. וכן יש ב' אומות מסטרא דשמאלא כוללות לכל האומות שמסטרא דשמאלא, שהן **עמון ומואב**, והן מתיחסות ל**ב' אכסדרין** הכוללים שב**גדפא שמאלא**.

[The *Zohar*] says that there are **two nations** from the right side that incorporate all the nations from the right side, [nations which all] relate to the **two** encompassing **corridors** on **the right wing,** but the *Zohar* does not identify [those two main nations]. Likewise, there are two nations from the left side which incorporate all the nations from the left side. [Those two incorporating nations] are **Ammon and Moab.** These relate to the **two** encompassing **corridors** on **the left wing.**

וז"ש, **וכלהון אקרון נפש חיה**, כל נפשות הגרים הבאות מכל האומות נקראות בשם **נפש חיה**. וזה משום שאינם יכולים לקבל רק מזווג דגדלות דזו"ן, שאז הזו"ן הם במקום או"א עלאין, ואז נקראת המלכות **נפש חיה**, מטעם היות בה מאור או"א שהוא **אור חיה**. וכיון שנפשות הגרים מקבלות מה**גדפין** ד**נפש חיה**, נקראות גם הן **נפש חיה**.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
[The *Zohar*] says: **“They are all called living soul.”** All the souls of the converts that come from all the nations are called **“living soul.”** The reason is that they can receive only from the pairing of [*Ze’er Anpin* and *Nukba* of the phase] of maturity since [*Ze’er Anpin*] and *Nukba* are then in the place of *Abba* and *Imma Ila’in*. [In that state] the *Malkhut* is called **“living soul”** [*nefesh ḥaya*], because she contains the light of [*Abba* and *Imma Ila’in*], which is **the light of** ***ḥaya*****.** Since the souls of the converts receive from **the wings** of **the living soul,** they too are called **“living souls.”**
