רלג) **פקודא תשיעאה** וכו': המצוה התשיעית היא, לחון את העניים, ולתת להם טרף. שכתוב, נעשה אדם בצלמנו כדמותנו. נעשה אדם הוא בשיתוף, מפני שהוא כולל זכר ונקבה. בצלמנו, היינו עשירים. כדמותנו, היינו העניים.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
**233. “The ninth commandment, etc.”**
**The ninth commandment is to be gracious to the poor and give them food, as it is stated: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”** [Genesis 1:26]. **“Let us make man”** [means] **in partnership,** for he **consists of male and female. “In our image”** means [the] **wealthy; “after our likeness”** is referring to **the poor.**
