**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
**242. “The *Tefillin* are the letters of the holy name, etc.”**
**The *tefillin* are the letters of the holy name. Therefore, it is stated: “Your head upon you ‎is like the Carmel.” This is** an allusion to **the *tefillin* of the head. “And the hair** [*dalat*] **of your head”** [Song of Songs 7:6] **is that *tefillin* of the hand, ‎** which is *Malkhut*, **who is a pauper** [*dal* means “poor”] **facing upward,** *Ze’er Anpin*. **She also has a completeness similar to above. ‎**

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
Explanation: The *Malkhut* is the mystical meaning of the *tefillin* of the hand, and [this *Malkhut*] is **“a pauper facing upward,”** [relative to] the world above. The higher world, *Bina*, partners with [the *Malkhut*] (as stated above with regard to the ninth commandment), in order to complete [the *Malkhut*], [such that **“She, too, has a completeness similar to above,”** as now [that *Malkhut*] receives the complete wholeness of the higher world, ‎*Bina*. This occurs through the lower unification of “Blessed be the name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever,” as clarified above in the fourth chapter [about] *Ze’er Anpin*. Since [this *Malkhut*] is not the *Nukba* in the body of *Ze’er Anpin*, but the ‎separated *Nukba* of *Ze’er Anpin*, [this separated *Malkhut*] thus takes all four chapters from [*Ze’er Anpin*], which are *Ḥokhma* and *Bina*, *Ḥesed* and *Gevura* of *Ze’er Anpin*, because [this *Malkhut*] is ‎a separate and complete *partzuf*. However, these [chapters] are in a single container rather than in four separate containers ‎like in the *tefillin* of *Ze’er Anpin*. ‎

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
The reason is that a chapter is the mystical meaning of the light, while its box is the mystical meaning of the vessel. It is known that from every [fusion through collision] a light and vessel are drawn forth. Consequently, ‎the *Ze’er Anpin*, whose four chapters – which are his four brains: *Ḥokhma* and *Bina*, *Ḥesed* and *Gevura* – are drawn to him in four ‎fusions, likewise has four boxes [which are vessels], a specific box for each chapter. By contrast, [in the case of] the *Nukba*, ‎there is no fusion in [this *Nukba*] itself. Rather [the *Nukba*] receives all four brains, which are the four chapters, ‎in a single fusion from *Ze’er Anpin*, and therefore it has only one box for all four chapters. ‎
