לה) **עאלת אות ו'** וכו': נכנסה אות **ו'**. אמרה לפניו: רבון העולם, טוב לפניך לברוא בי את העולם, שאני אות משמך הויה. אמר לה: **וא"ו**, את ו**ה'** די לכן, שאתן אותיות משמי, הויה, שאתן בסוד שמי, וחקוקות ומפותחות בשמי, לא אברא בכן את העולם.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
**35. “*Vav* entered etc.”**
The letter ***vav* entered** [and] **said before Him: Master of the world! It is good for You to create the world with me, for I am a letter from Your name** *Havaya***. He said to her: *Vav* – you and *heh*, it is enough for you that you are letters from My name** *Havaya***, that you are in the secret of My name and engraved and carved in My name. I will not create the world with you.**

פירוש, כי אע"פ דכבר בקשה זאת ה**י'** לעיל ונדחית, אעפ"כ חשבה ה**ו'** שה**י'** נדחית מטעם קומתה הגבוהה יותר מדאי, וטענה ה**ו'** שיברא העולם במדתה, דהיינו בקומת **ו"ה** שבשם שהיא מוחין דאמא.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
Explanation: Although the *yod* had already submitted this request and been rejected, the *vav* thought that the *yod* had been turned down because her level was too high. The *vav* claimed that the world should be created with her attribute, at the level of *vav-heh* in the name, which is the brains of the *Imma*.¹ aspect of *Abba* and *Imma* (father and mother).

**אמר לה: ואו, אנת וה', די לכון דאתון אתוון דשמי** וכו': השיב להן אותה התשובה שהשיב ל**י'** לעיל, ע"ש, כי הגביל גם אותה, בסוד שאמר לה **די** ואל תתפשטו רק לבחי' ה**ש'**, כדי שלא תאחזנה בכן הקליפות וע"כ אינכן ראויות למברי בכו עלמא. כי גם אתן צריכות שמירה מהקליפות.

**The Sefaria Sulam, 2023:**
**“He said to her: *Vav* – you and *heh*, it is enough for you that you are letters from My name etc.”** He replied with the same response that He had given to the *yod* (see there), as He limited [the *vav*] as well, with the mystical meaning of the statement: “Enough; expand only to the aspect of the *shin* so that the *kelippot* do not grasp hold of you. For this reason, you are unfit for the world to be created with you, as you too require protection from the *kelippot*.”
