בחינה ד' שברצון שנתרוקנה מאור: הנה נבחנת לחושך ביחס לאור. וביחס לכלי נבחנת ל"חלל", כי בחינה ד' בעצמותה לא נחסרה מהנאצל בסיבת הצמצום, אלא שישנה בו בבחינת חלל ריקני בלי אור.
