מלת רוחניות המובאת בספרי הקבלה, משמעותה שהיא מופשטת מכל המקרים הגשמיים, דהיינו מקום וזמן ודמיון וכו'. ולפעמים מורה רק על בחינת האור העליון שבכלי. אע"פ שגם כלי הוא רוחני מכל התנאים.
