(לשאלה) ארוכה פירושה: חכמה, שמדת חכמה נקראת ארוך. וכיון שזווג או"א דחצות לילה הוא מהארת ע"ב ס"ג העליונים, ע"כ נבחנים בבחינה ארוכה כלומר שהם ממדת ג"ר. (אות כ"ט).
