**ותשובת**מתקיעת כף לא מצאתי אך בקצרה אודיעך כי כת' רבינו יצחק ב"ר מנחם שרבי' יוסף בר' שמעון היה מוציא ממון בתקיעת כף ובזה לא דיקדקת שכתבת המלוה לחבירו מעות קרוב לשכר ורחוק להפסד שאם הפסיד יהיה חצי ההפסד על המלוה אינו כן אלא גובה את הקרן ואינו גובה את הריבית אם יש שם ריוח. וריוח והצלה יעמד לנו ולכל ישר' כנפ' שוחר טובך מאיר בר ברוך.

I have not found the Responsum dealing with a solemn hand-clasp. But, Rabbi Isaak b. Rabbi Menahem wrote that Rabbi Joseph b. Simon¹ used to enforce the collection of money promised to the plaintiff by a solemn hand-clasp.
