**וששאלתם**על זכר ונקיבה שזיווגו יחד אם יכולין לדור יחד בבית אחד יש לחוש שמא יתייחדו (מס' כלה.) וכלה בלא ברכה אסורה לבעלה כמו נדה:

*Q*. Are a bride and a bridegroom permitted to live in the same house after betrothal?
*A*. They are not permitted to live in the same house because there may be occasions when no chaperons are about, and a person is not permitted to cohabit with his betrothed before they are actually married. Moreover, there is danger lest familiarity may breed contempt.
