תרכ. ואשר שאל אדוני על המחבת שנקבה ותקנה נראה דאם נקבה למטה בשוליה בכדי טהרתה דהיינו בכונס משקה כדין כלי [העשוי למשקה נתבטל לגמרי מתורת כלי] וכשחזר ותקנה פנים חדשות באו לכאן וצריך להטביל וא"כ מן הצד נמי כיון דלמעלה כמאן דליתי'.

*Q*. One repaired a pan which contained a hole. Must he immerse the pan in a ritual bath before he is permitted to use it?
*A*. Whether the hole was formed on the bottom or on the side of the pan, the pan needs immersion, since, when repaired, it is considered as a new vessel.
