סח. ותפילין שהיו מרובעת וכשנתיישנו נמתחו ואינו מרובעת צריך לחזור ולעשותן מרובעת. וציצית העשוי' כתקונו למעלה מן הקשר גודל ולמטה משולש ונקרע הטלית העליות וקאי למטה מקשר גודל מותר כדאי' פ' התכלת (מנחות מ"ב ע"א) חזי' רב סמא לקרנא דגלימי' דסתר וכו' עד שעת עשיי' אתמר וטעמא משום דכתי' ועשו להם ציצית כלומר בשעת עשייה דוקא קפיד קרא אבל תפילין מרובעת הלכה למשה מסיני וכל שעתא בעי' שיהו מרובעת.

Phylacteries which lost their square shape through age and use must be reshaped before they can be used. But *zizith* (fringes) are fit for use at any time if, when they were made, they were of the required shape and size.
