And it includes the first three blessings of prayer, 
and the three last. 
And it includes two: Vav-Vav¹², 
of which it is stated: (Ex. 28) *... upon* *its two edges, and it is joined*, 
which are [Var. and they are] the 12 blessings of prayer, 
that are called ‘the middle-ones’. 
And all are 18³³ blessings, 
that are included in ה¹, 
for they are three Vavs¹², 
[Var. of which it is stated: YOD QE VAV QE² ] 
which is ‘the two faces’.

This is the Middle Pillar, 
in which reside the 18 blessings of higher Hei¹,

The Vav¹ which is between Hei-Hei¹ is the ‘dimension of stature’, 
and it is a cubit² 
and amounts [Var. which amounts], through the letter Yod¹³, 
to ten cubits, 
of which is stated: (Ex. 26:16) *... ten cubits is the length of a plank, 
and a cubit and half a cubit is the width of one plank*. 
This is Vav¹ and Yod¹, 
which is in the mystery of the letter Zayin¹, 
through which all ‘crownlets’² are called.

And because of this, it is six handbreadths³,⁴ 
and ‘half a cubit’ is Yod¹,

and the letter Yod² – its measure is 3 handbreadths, 
and this is the letter Gimmel¹².

And ten cubits is the measure of the human body, 
corresponding to the ten things words, 
that are stated of ‘the cup of blessing’,¹ 
of which, at this time, there remain only four, 
[Var. for the Vav² has withdrawn, 
and there remains Dalet² from ‘DU³ faces’, 
And the measure of all, Vav² in the letter Yod², ascends to ten] 
as they the sages have determined.⁴

And they are all alluded to in the body like this: 
in the right arm are two cubits from section to section, 
and thus also two in the left arm 
– behold four. 
And so it is with the two thighs, there are 4 
– behold 8. 
And in the body, there are two, thus ten. 
This is: *ten cubits is the length of a plank*¹... (Ex. 26:16) 
It is ‘the connection’¹, through switching the letters, 
between connection to connection.

And they, the 5 fingers, are all the measure of the poles, 
and they are: (Is. 40:12) *Who has measured the waters with His step... etc*. 
And they have already established the meaning of this. 
And they are: 
5 Alephs: אָ אֵ אֹ אִ אֻ – 
these five vowel-points, 
which are called qametz¹, tzerei¹, ḥolem¹, ḥireq¹, shureq¹, 
are in the mystery of ELQYM², 
for thus they add up in numeric-value. 
And the mystery of ELQYM is MaLEi³ -QaH², 
and this is [Var. Y-H-V] certainly Binah. 
And so it is with the mystery of the 5 Alephs, 
included in the lower Hei¹².

in relation to the Shekhinah which is called**GaD.

And why is it called manna¹ ? 
Because they all: (Ex. 16:15) *... did not know what it is*¹. 
For the blessed Holy One caused**MaN¹ to descend for them, 
which is like white coriander seed: 
(Num. 11:7) *... and its colour as the colour of bdellium 
*– which is white from the right-hand side, 
(Ex. 16:31) *... and its taste was like wafers made with honey 
*– from the left-hand side. 
*Mah-hu*¹ – comprised of ten letters
