**An old male warhorse**
Reb Elchanan explains "male warhorse" refers to the Yerushalmi account of Ben Beteira permitting horse sales, specifically male horses that kill their masters in war. "Old" is also mentioned because an old horse might die in battle, endangering the rider. Each detail has its own specific reason. Rebbi Eliezer of Beiham explained "old" is inclusive, permitting sale even if it involves labour incurring a chatat, as later stated (16a) that old horses can grind millstones, yet sale remains permitted. "Male warhorse" is also inclusive, permitting sale despite potential prohibition due to weapon status and large animal status, and yet it is still permitted.

**And "talking" means prayer, as it is written, "And Isaac went out to talk in the field"**
It is curious, for in Berachos 26b, we say Isaac established Minchah prayer, citing "Isaac went out to talk in the field" and defining "talking" as prayer from "I will pour out my talking before Him!" (Psalms 142:3). Which verse is the true source? Both are needed, as they illuminate one another. Without the Isaac verse, one might assume "talking in the field" was casual conversation, not prayer. "I will pour out my talking" clarifies "talking" means prayer. Without "I will pour out my talking," one might think "talking" signifies prayer but not necessarily a fixed prayer. The Isaac verse, mentioning "towards evening," implies a regular evening practice, namely Minchah prayer.
