**מיוחדום לאלהים לבדו**שיעשה כל מעשיו מעבודת ה' בלתי לה' לבדו ולא יערב בעבודתו מחשבה הנשקפת על איזה פעולה בגמול בני אדם והתקרבותו אליהם וזה הנקרא אצל המחבר חנף, ומאחר שקדם לבאר דרכי הבטחון בהאל יתעלה, והבטחון זולתו בשום נוצר הבל וריק אין בו שום תועלת כמבואר מצד השכל ומצד התורה, א"כ ראוי ודאי שניחד כל המעשים לשמו ית', וזה עניני השער הבא:
