**כשמש אשר היא אחת** הואל באר שהשנויים אינם מצד הפועל רק מצד המקבל הפעולות כמו הזכוכית השחור שמקבל אור השמש יתהוה ממנו להט נוטה לשחרות ומן האדום אדום ומן הלבן לבן:

**וכמים שמשקין בהם הפרדס שפרחיו שונים** ר"ל כשיורדין מים על הפרחים שזה אדום וזה לבן ד"מ נראים המים הטופחים על הפרחים בצבע הפרחים. וכבר היה נראה שהמחבר עשה בזה משל שלא לצורך כי היה יכול להמשיל במים הנתנים על זכוכית אדום ושחור שנראה כצבע שבו הוא הזכוכית. ובאמת ששכל דבריו שנישא משלו מענינים הפועלים כמו השמש שפועלת האור. ובמקבלי האור ישיג שנויים מצד עצמם וכסבור שהשמש עצמו נשתנה. וכמו כן המים הפועלים הצמיחה בפרדס שהוא אחד במראהו. עכ"ז נראה משתנה כשמגיע על הפרחים ובאמת שהמים שהוא הפועל אינו משתנה רק מצד המקבל שהוא הפרח נראה שהמים הם משונים. וכמו כן מה שנראה שנוי בחכמחו הוא מצד דבר המקבל אותו:
