**ויתחזק על ישוב העולם הזה**ר"ל לבנות ולנטוע בכל מיני מעשים ומלאכות אשר מעשי ידיו הם מבלים אותו. ואע"פ שיש בזה מן השטות שמטריח עצמו על עולם שאינו שלו ודי לו שיטריח עצמו על ענינים היכולים להתקיים רק עד כדי קיום חייו. אך רק הוא מצד הטבע אשר נטע הבורא בלב בני אדם המועיל לקיום המין האנושי שאל"כ היה העולם חרב:

i.e. to build, to plant, in all types of acts and works of his, which deplete his strength. And even though there is foolishness in this, that he strains himself for a world which is not his, and it should be enough that he troubles himself only for things that endure for the duration of his lifetime. Nevertheless, it is a nature, which the Creator implanted in the hearts of human beings which is necessary for the propagation of the human race, for without this, the world would be desolate.

**ואם יפסדו אישיו**ר"ל אע"פ שהאישים ר"ל דהיינו פרטי בני אדם מתים זה אחר זה עכ"ז העולם מיושב ומתוקן ומלא כל טוב. וכמעשה דהאי גברא שנטע חרוב אחד שבמסכת תענית שהשיב להשואל אותו מה לך להטריח עצמך בנטיעתו והוא אינו מוציא פירות עד אחר שבעים שנה וכבר זקנת. ואמר אני עולם מלא מצאתי כך אשאיר אותו אחרי:

**ע"ד הטבע מוסיף תיקונם**אברי הגוף כשמשתמשים בהם תמיד הם מתחזקים ובהפסק שמושם הם נחלשים כנודע לחכמי הטבע. שאם יהיו עיני האדם סגורים זמן ארוך תחלש חוש הראות וכן שאר חושים. ואף הידים והרגלים אם ינוחו מפעולתם יחלשו מאד:

**ויזך ויזהיר**יהיה זך ומאיר ע"י עיון התורה וע"ד שאמר הכתוב אם כהה הברזל והוא לא פנים קלקל וחיילים יגבר ויתרון הכשיר חכמה (קהלת י׳:י׳) ר"ל כמו שהברזל אם אין משתמשים בו ומחדדים פניו הוא כהה אינו חד ומעלה חלודה כן דרך החכמה:
