## Zechariah Chapter 10

###### Zechariah 10:1

שַׁאֲל֨וּ מֵיְהֹוָ֤ה מָטָר֙ בְּעֵ֣ת מַלְק֔וֹשׁ יְהֹוָ֖ה עֹשֶׂ֣ה חֲזִיזִ֑ים וּמְטַר־גֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ יִתֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֔ם לְאִ֖ישׁ עֵ֥שֶׂב בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Ask rain of the Lord in the time of the latter rain, of the Lord who makes lightnings; and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field.


###### Zechariah 10:2

כִּ֧י הַתְּרָפִ֣ים דִּבְּרוּ־אָ֗וֶן וְהַקּֽוֹסְמִים֙ חָ֣זוּ שֶׁ֔קֶר וַֽחֲלֹמוֹת֙ הַשָּׁ֣וְא יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ הֶ֖בֶל יְנַחֵמ֑וּן עַל־כֵּן֙ נָסְע֣וּ כְמוֹ־צֹ֔אן יַעֲנ֖וּ כִּי־אֵ֥ין רֹעֶֽה׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For the terafim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and the dreams tell falsehood; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were afflicted, because there was no shepherd.


###### Zechariah 10:3

עַל־הָֽרֹעִים֙ חָרָ֣ה אַפִּ֔י וְעַל־הָעַתּוּדִ֖ים אֶפְק֑וֹד כִּֽי־פָקַד֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה צְבָא֤וֹת אֶת־עֶדְרוֹ֙ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יְהוּדָ֔ה וְשָׂ֣ם אוֹתָ֔ם כְּס֥וּס הוֹד֖וֹ בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
My anger burns against the shepherds, and I will punish the goats: for the Lord of hosts has remembered his flock, the house of Yehuda, and makes them like the magnificent steed in the battle.


###### Zechariah 10:4

מִמֶּ֤נּוּ פִנָּה֙ מִמֶּ֣נּוּ יָתֵ֔ד מִמֶּ֖נּוּ קֶ֣שֶׁת מִלְחָמָ֑ה מִמֶּ֛נּוּ יֵצֵ֥א כׇל־נוֹגֵ֖שׂ יַחְדָּֽו׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Out of him shall come forth the cornerstone, out of him the stake, out of him the battle bow, out of him every ruler together.


###### Zechariah 10:5

וְהָי֨וּ כְגִבֹּרִ֜ים בּוֹסִ֨ים בְּטִ֤יט חוּצוֹת֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְנִ֨לְחֲמ֔וּ כִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה עִמָּ֑ם וְהֹבִ֖ישׁוּ רֹכְבֵ֥י סוּסִֽים׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And they shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.


###### Zechariah 10:6

וְגִבַּרְתִּ֣י**׀** אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יְהוּדָ֗ה וְאֶת־בֵּ֤ית יוֹסֵף֙ אוֹשִׁ֔יעַ וְהֽוֹשְׁבוֹתִים֙ כִּ֣י רִֽחַמְתִּ֔ים וְהָי֖וּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־זְנַחְתִּ֑ים כִּ֗י אֲנִ֛י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם וְאֶעֱנֵֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will strengthen the house of Yehuda, and I will save the house of Yosef, and I will bring them back again for I have had mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.


###### Zechariah 10:7

וְהָי֤וּ כְגִבּוֹר֙ אֶפְרַ֔יִם וְשָׂמַ֥ח לִבָּ֖ם כְּמוֹ־יָ֑יִן וּבְנֵיהֶם֙ יִרְא֣וּ וְשָׂמֵ֔חוּ יָגֵ֥ל לִבָּ֖ם בַּיהֹוָֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And they of Efrayim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: and their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.


###### Zechariah 10:8

אֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה לָהֶ֛ם וַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖ם כִּ֣י פְדִיתִ֑ים וְרָב֖וּ כְּמ֥וֹ רָבֽוּ׃

I will whistle to them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have before increased.


###### Zechariah 10:9

וְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ בָּעַמִּ֔ים וּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖ים יִזְכְּר֑וּנִי וְחָי֥וּ אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם וָשָֽׁבוּ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will sow them among the peoples: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and shall return.


###### Zechariah 10:10

וַהֲשִֽׁבוֹתִים֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם וּמֵאַשּׁ֖וּר אֲקַבְּצֵ֑ם וְאֶל־אֶ֨רֶץ גִּלְעָ֤ד וּלְבָנוֹן֙ אֲבִיאֵ֔ם וְלֹ֥א יִמָּצֵ֖א לָהֶֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And I will bring them back out of the land of Miżrayim, and gather them out of Ashshur, and I will bring them into the land of Gil῾ad and Levanon; so that there will be no room for them.


###### Zechariah 10:11

וְעָבַ֨ר בַּיָּ֜ם צָרָ֗ה וְהִכָּ֤ה בַיָּם֙ גַּלִּ֔ים וְהֹבִ֕ישׁוּ כֹּ֖ל מְצוּל֣וֹת יְאֹ֑ר וְהוּרַד֙ גְּא֣וֹן אַשּׁ֔וּר וְשֵׁ֥בֶט מִצְרַ֖יִם יָסֽוּר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the River shall dry up: and the pride of Ashshur shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Miżrayim shall depart away.


###### Zechariah 10:12

וְגִבַּרְתִּים֙ בַּיהֹוָ֔ה וּבִשְׁמ֖וֹ יִתְהַלָּ֑כוּ נְאֻ֖ם יְהֹוָֽה׃{פ}

And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, says the Lord.
