## Zechariah Chapter 13

###### Zechariah 13:1

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ מָק֣וֹר נִפְתָּ֔ח לְבֵ֥ית דָּוִ֖יד וּלְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם לְחַטַּ֖את וּלְנִדָּֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
On that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim for cleansing and for sprinkling.


###### Zechariah 13:2

וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻ֣ם**׀** יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אַכְרִ֞ית אֶת־שְׁמ֤וֹת הָעֲצַבִּים֙ מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹ֥א יִזָּכְר֖וּ ע֑וֹד וְגַ֧ם אֶת־הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים וְאֶת־ר֥וּחַ הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה אַעֲבִ֥יר מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass on that day, says the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.


###### Zechariah 13:3

וְהָיָ֗ה כִּי־יִנָּבֵ֣א אִישׁ֮ עוֹד֒ וְאָמְר֣וּ אֵ֠לָ֠יו אָבִ֨יו וְאִמּ֤וֹ יֹֽלְדָיו֙ לֹ֣א תִֽחְיֶ֔ה כִּ֛י שֶׁ֥קֶר דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהֹוָ֑ה וּדְקָרֻ֜הוּ אָבִ֧יהוּ וְאִמּ֛וֹ יֹלְדָ֖יו בְּהִנָּֽבְאֽוֹ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother who begot him shall say to him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother who begot him shall thrust him through when he prophesies.


###### Zechariah 13:4

וְהָיָ֣ה**׀** בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵבֹ֧שׁוּ הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים אִ֥ישׁ מֵחֶזְיֹנ֖וֹ בְּהִנָּֽבְאֹת֑וֹ וְלֹ֧א יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ אַדֶּ֥רֶת שֵׂעָ֖ר לְמַ֥עַן כַּחֵֽשׁ׃

And it shall come to pass on that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he has prophesied; and they shall not put on the hairy mantle to deceive:


###### Zechariah 13:5

וְאָמַ֕ר לֹ֥א נָבִ֖יא אָנֹ֑כִי אִישׁ־עֹבֵ֤ד אֲדָמָה֙ אָנֹ֔כִי כִּ֥י אָדָ֖ם הִקְנַ֥נִי מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.


###### Zechariah 13:6

וְאָמַ֣ר אֵלָ֔יו מָ֧ה הַמַּכּ֛וֹת הָאֵ֖לֶּה בֵּ֣ין יָדֶ֑יךָ וְאָמַ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֻכֵּ֖יתִי בֵּ֥ית מְאַהֲבָֽי׃{פ}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And one shall say to him, What are these wounds between thy hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.


###### Zechariah 13:7

חֶ֗רֶב עוּרִ֤י עַל־רֹעִי֙ וְעַל־גֶּ֣בֶר עֲמִיתִ֔י נְאֻ֖ם יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת הַ֤ךְ אֶת־הָרֹעֶה֙ וּתְפוּצֶ֣יןָ הַצֹּ֔אן וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י יָדִ֖י עַל־הַצֹּעֲרִֽים׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is associated with me, says the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand against the little ones.


###### Zechariah 13:8

וְהָיָ֤ה בְכׇל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה פִּֽי־שְׁנַ֣יִם בָּ֔הּ יִכָּרְת֖וּ יִגְוָ֑עוּ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית יִוָּ֥תֶר בָּֽהּ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says the Lord, two parts in it shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left in it.


###### Zechariah 13:9

וְהֵבֵאתִ֤י אֶת־הַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ בָּאֵ֔שׁ וּצְרַפְתִּים֙ כִּצְרֹ֣ף אֶת־הַכֶּ֔סֶף וּבְחַנְתִּ֖ים כִּבְחֹ֣ן אֶת־הַזָּהָ֑ב ה֣וּא**׀** יִקְרָ֣א בִשְׁמִ֗י וַֽאֲנִי֙ אֶעֱנֶ֣ה אֹת֔וֹ אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ עַמִּ֣י ה֔וּא וְה֥וּא יֹאמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽי׃{פ}

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
