## Zechariah Chapter 14

###### Zechariah 14:1

הִנֵּ֥ה יֽוֹם־בָּ֖א לַיהֹוָ֑ה וְחֻלַּ֥ק שְׁלָלֵ֖ךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Behold, the day of the Lord comes, when thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.


###### Zechariah 14:2

וְאָסַפְתִּ֨י אֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֥ם׀אֶֽל־יְרוּשָׁלַ֘͏ִם֮ לַמִּלְחָמָה֒ וְנִלְכְּדָ֣ה הָעִ֗יר וְנָשַׁ֙סּוּ֙ הַבָּ֣תִּ֔ים וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים (תשגלנה) [תִּשָּׁכַ֑בְנָה] וְיָצָ֞א חֲצִ֤י הָעִיר֙ בַּגּוֹלָ֔ה וְיֶ֣תֶר הָעָ֔ם לֹ֥א יִכָּרֵ֖ת מִן־הָעִֽיר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
For I will gather all the nations against Yerushalayim to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go into exile, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.


###### Zechariah 14:3

וְיָצָ֣א יְהֹוָ֔ה וְנִלְחַ֖ם בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם הָהֵ֑ם כְּי֥וֹם הִֽלָּחֲמ֖וֹ בְּי֥וֹם קְרָֽב׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
Then shall the Lord go out, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.


###### Zechariah 14:4

וְעָמְד֣וּ רַגְלָ֣יו בַּיּוֹם־הַ֠ה֠וּא עַל־הַ֨ר הַזֵּיתִ֜ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֘͏ִם֮ מִקֶּ֒דֶם֒ וְנִבְקַע֩ הַ֨ר הַזֵּיתִ֤ים מֵֽחֶצְיוֹ֙ מִזְרָ֣חָה וָיָ֔מָּה גֵּ֖יא גְּדוֹלָ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד וּמָ֨שׁ חֲצִ֥י הָהָ֛ר צָפ֖וֹנָה וְחֶצְיוֹ־נֶֽגְבָּה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Yerushalayim on the east, and the mount of Olives shall be split along the middle of it by a very great valley from east to west; and half of the mountain shall be removed towards the north, and half of it, towards the south.


###### Zechariah 14:5

וְנַסְתֶּ֣ם גֵּיא־הָרַ֗י כִּי־יַגִּ֣יעַ גֵּֽי־הָרִים֮ אֶל־אָצַל֒ וְנַסְתֶּ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר נַסְתֶּם֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הָרַ֔עַשׁ בִּימֵ֖י עֻזִּיָּ֣ה מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֑ה וּבָא֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔י כׇּל־קְדֹשִׁ֖ים עִמָּֽךְ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Ażel: and you shall flee, just as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of ῾Uzziyya king of Yehuda: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the holy ones with thee.


###### Zechariah 14:6

וְהָיָ֖ה בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא לֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶ֣ה א֔וֹר יְקָר֖וֹת (יקפאון) [וְקִפָּאֽוֹן]׃

And it shall come to pass on that day, that there shall neither be bright light nor thick darkness;


###### Zechariah 14:7

וְהָיָ֣ה יוֹם־אֶחָ֗ד ה֛וּא יִוָּדַ֥ע לַיהֹוָ֖ה לֹא־י֣וֹם וְלֹא־לָ֑יְלָה וְהָיָ֥ה לְעֵֽת־עֶ֖רֶב יִֽהְיֶה־אֽוֹר׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
but it shall be one particular day which shall be known as the Lord’s, neither day, nor night: but it shall come to pass that at evening time, there will be light.


###### Zechariah 14:8

וְהָיָ֣ה**׀** בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵצְא֤וּ מַֽיִם־חַיִּים֙ מִיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם חֶצְיָ֗ם אֶל־הַיָּם֙ הַקַּדְמוֹנִ֔י וְחֶצְיָ֖ם אֶל־הַיָּ֣ם הָאַחֲר֑וֹן בַּקַּ֥יִץ וּבָחֹ֖רֶף יִֽהְיֶֽה׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And on that day, living waters shall go out from Yerushalayim; half of them towards the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.


###### Zechariah 14:9

וְהָיָ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה לְמֶ֖לֶךְ עַל־כׇּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִהְיֶ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶחָ֖ד וּשְׁמ֥וֹ אֶחָֽד׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: on that day the Lord shall be one, and his name One.


###### Zechariah 14:10

יִסּ֨וֹב כׇּל־הָאָ֤רֶץ כָּֽעֲרָבָה֙ מִגֶּ֣בַע לְרִמּ֔וֹן נֶ֖גֶב יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְֽרָאֲמָה֩ וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה תַחְתֶּ֜יהָ לְמִשַּׁ֣עַר בִּנְיָמִ֗ן עַד־מְק֞וֹם שַׁ֤עַר הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ עַד־שַׁ֣עַר הַפִּנִּ֔ים וּמִגְדַּ֣ל חֲנַנְאֵ֔ל עַ֖ד יִקְבֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
All the land shall be changed like the ῾Arava from Geva to Rimmon south of Yerushalayim; whilst she shall be lifted up, and shall remain in her place, from the gate of Binyamin to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Ḥanan᾽el to the king’s winepresses.


###### Zechariah 14:11

וְיָ֣שְׁבוּ בָ֔הּ וְחֵ֖רֶם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֑וֹד וְיָשְׁבָ֥ה יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם לָבֶֽטַח׃{ס}

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Yerushalayim shall dwell secure.


###### Zechariah 14:12

וְזֹ֣את**׀** תִּהְיֶ֣ה הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִגֹּ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־כׇּל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר צָבְא֖וּ עַל־יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם הָמֵ֣ק**׀** בְּשָׂר֗וֹ וְהוּא֙ עֹמֵ֣ד עַל־רַגְלָ֔יו וְעֵינָיו֙ תִּמַּ֣קְנָה בְחֹֽרֵיהֶ֔ן וּלְשׁוֹנ֖וֹ תִּמַּ֥ק בְּפִיהֶֽם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will smite all the peoples that have fought against Yerushalayim; their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their sockets, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.


###### Zechariah 14:13

וְהָיָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא תִּהְיֶ֧ה מְהֽוּמַת־יְהֹוָ֛ה רַבָּ֖ה בָּהֶ֑ם וְהֶחֱזִ֗יקוּ אִ֚ישׁ יַ֣ד רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְעָלְתָ֥ה יָד֖וֹ עַל־יַ֥ד רֵעֵֽהוּ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass on that day, that a great panic from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.


###### Zechariah 14:14

וְגַ֨ם־יְהוּדָ֔ה תִּלָּחֵ֖ם בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְאֻסַּף֩ חֵ֨יל כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֜ם סָבִ֗יב זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֛סֶף וּבְגָדִ֖ים לָרֹ֥ב מְאֹֽד׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And Yehuda also shall fight at Yerushalayim; and the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and clothing, in great abundance.


###### Zechariah 14:15

וְכֵ֨ן תִּהְיֶ֜ה מַגֵּפַ֣ת הַסּ֗וּס הַפֶּ֙רֶד֙ הַגָּמָ֣ל וְהַחֲמ֔וֹר וְכׇ֨ל־הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִֽהְיֶ֖ה בַּמַּחֲנ֣וֹת הָהֵ֑מָּה כַּמַּגֵּפָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And such shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these camps, as this plague.


###### Zechariah 14:16

וְהָיָ֗ה כׇּל־הַנּוֹתָר֙ מִכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַבָּאִ֖ים עַל־יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְעָל֞וּ מִדֵּ֧י שָׁנָ֣ה בְשָׁנָ֗ה לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺת֙ לְמֶ֙לֶךְ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וְלָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations who came against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths.


###### Zechariah 14:17

וְ֠הָיָ֠ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יַעֲלֶ֜ה מֵאֵ֨ת מִשְׁפְּח֤וֹת הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶל־יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֔ת לְמֶ֖לֶךְ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וְלֹ֥א עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם יִהְיֶ֥ה הַגָּֽשֶׁם׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And whoever does not come up of all the families of the earth to Yerushalayim to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, upon them shall be no rain.


###### Zechariah 14:18

וְאִם־מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת מִצְרַ֧יִם לֹֽא־תַעֲלֶ֛ה וְלֹ֥א בָאָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִגֹּ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And if the family of Miżrayim does not go up, and does not come, then they shall have no overflow. This shall be the plague, with which the Lord will smite the nations that shall not come up to keep the feast of booths.


###### Zechariah 14:19

זֹ֥את תִּהְיֶ֖ה חַטַּ֣את מִצְרָ֑יִם וְחַטַּאת֙ כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יַעֲל֔וּ לָחֹ֖ג אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
This shall be the punishment of Miżrayim, and the punishment of all nations that do not come up to keep the feast of booths.


###### Zechariah 14:20

בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִֽהְיֶה֙ עַל־מְצִלּ֣וֹת הַסּ֔וּס קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהֹוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֤ה הַסִּירוֹת֙ בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֔ה כַּמִּזְרָקִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
On that day shall there be (inscribed) upon the bells of the horses, Holiness to the Lord; and the pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the basins before the altar.


###### Zechariah 14:21

וְ֠הָיָ֠ה כׇּל־סִ֨יר בִּירוּשָׁלַ֜͏ִם וּבִיהוּדָ֗ה קֹ֚דֶשׁ לַיהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וּבָ֙אוּ֙ כׇּל־הַזֹּ֣בְחִ֔ים וְלָקְח֥וּ מֵהֶ֖ם וּבִשְּׁל֣וּ בָהֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶ֨ה כְנַעֲנִ֥י ע֛וֹד בְּבֵית־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃

**The Koren Jerusalem Bible:**
And every pot in Yerushalayim and in Yehuda shall be sacred to the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and cook in them: and on that day there shall be no more merchants in the house of the Lord of hosts.
