¹: Vezot Habrachot writes that falafel is shehakol. Halachos of Brachos Handbook p. 41 agrees. However, The Laws of Brachos (Rabbi Forst, pg 359-384) argues that falafel is haadama. Yalkut Yosef 204:15 writes that falafel are haadama but the minhag is to recite shehakol.

³: Halachos of Brachos Handbook p. 42 explains that farina isn't Pat Haba Bikisnin. He holds that it is a food for bracha achrona since it is eaten as a food.
