**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2019:**
אֵין־כָּמֽוֹךָ There is none like You among the heavenly powers, LORD,
and there are no works like Yours.
Your kingdom is an eternal kingdom,
and Your dominion is for all generations.
The LORD is King, the LORD was King,
the LORD shall be King for ever and all time.
The LORD will give strength to His people;
the LORD will bless His people with peace.
Father of compassion,
favor Zion with Your goodness; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
For we trust in You alone, King, God,
high and exalted, Master of worlds.

Show Your people the salvation of Your right hand in Your Temple. Grant us the gift of Your good light, and accept our prayers in mercy. May it be Your will to prolong our life in goodness. May I be counted among the righteous, so that You will have compassion on me and protect me and all that is mine and all that is Your people Israel’s. You feed all; You sustain all; You rule over all; You rule over kings, for sovereignty is Yours. I am a servant of the Holy One, blessed be He, before whom and before whose glorious Torah I bow at all times. Not in man do I trust, nor on any angel do I rely, but on the God of heaven who is the God of truth, whose Torah is truth, whose prophets speak truth, and who abounds in acts of love and truth. In Him I trust, and to His holy and glorious name I offer praises. May it be Your will to open my heart to the Torah, and to fulfill the wishes of my heart and of the hearts of all Your people Israel for good, for life, and for peace.

He is the Rock of worlds, LORD of all creatures, God of all souls, who dwells in the spacious heights and inhabits the high heavens of old. His holiness is over the Ḥayyot and over the throne of glory. Therefore may Your name, LORD our God, be sanctified among us in the sight of all that lives. Let us sing before Him a new song, as it is written: “Sing to God, make music for His name, extol Him who rides the clouds – the LORD is His name – and exult before Him.” And may we see Him eye to eye when He returns to His abode as it is written: “For they shall see eye to eye when the LORD returns to Zion.” And it is said: “Then will the glory of the LORD be revealed, and all mankind together shall see that the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

It happened after these things that God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. He said, “Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt-offering on one of the mountains which I shall say to you.” Early the next morning Abraham rose and saddled his donkey and took his two lads with him, and Isaac his son, and he cut wood for the burnt-offering, and he set out for the place of which God had told him.

They came to the place God had told him about, and Abraham built there an altar and arranged the wood and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar on top of the wood. He reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. Then an angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Do not reach out your hand against the boy; do not do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, because you have not held back your son, your only son, from Me.” Abraham looked up and there he saw a ram caught in a thicket by its horns, and Abraham went and took the ram and offered it as a burnt-offering instead of his son. Abraham called that place “The LORD will see,” as is said to this day, “On the mountain of the LORD He will be seen.”

**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2019:**
This is what the Lord has said: “The people who outlived the sword found grace in the desert; Israel, as they moved toward their resting place.” From far away the Lord appeared to me: “I have loved you with an everlasting love, and so by cords of kindness I draw you. I shall build you up once more, you will be built, young maiden Israel. Once more you will adorn yourself with drums and go out dancing to your own music. You shall once more plant vineyards in the hills of Samaria; the planters will plant and will redeem their fruit to eat. The day is coming, watchmen will cry out from Mount Ephraim, ‘Come, let us go up to Zion to the Lord our God.’”
For this is what the Lord has said: “Sing out with the happiness of Jacob, revel on the crests of nations, make it known, sing praises, say: ‘Lord, save Your people, the remnant of Israel! ‘Watch Me bring them from a northern land; I shall gather them in from the ends of the earth. Blind and limping men, pregnant women, all together, birthing mothers, a great flock of people will come back here; in tears they will come, and in mercy will I lead them, to rivers of water, along an open road, they will not stumble, for I have been Father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn.”
Listen, nations, to the word of the Lord; tell them in distant lands, far from here. And say, “The One who scattered Israel to the winds has gathered them, He guards them now as a shepherd does his flock.” Yes, the Lord has claimed back Jacob, has redeemed him from enslavement in stronger hands than his, and they will come singing joy from the heights of Zion, streaming down to the goodness of the Lord, [singing] of grain and of new wine and fresh oil, of the young of the flock and the cattle, and they will be like a garden watered lush, and they will not know this aching any more. Then the young girls will go out dancing to their happiness, boys and old men all together. “I shall turn all their mourning into joy, console them, and make happiness of grief. I shall have the priests sated with the offerings’ lushness, and My people will eat of My goodness and be full,” says the Lord.
This is what the Lord has said: “A voice is heard in Ramah – lamenting, bitter weeping. Rachel is weeping for her children, refusing to be consoled over her children, for they are not.”
This is what the Lord has said: “Hold back your voice from weeping, your eyes from tears: there is reward for what you do,” says the Lord; “They will return from hostile land. There is hope for your future, and children will return to their own borders. I have heard it; I heard Ephraim rocking back and forth, saying, ‘You have punished me, I took punishment, I was like a calf untamed. Return me – let me return, for You are the Lord my God. For when I returned I regretted it all: when I came to know myself, I beat my thighs, I was ashamed, crushed; I bear the endless disgrace of my youth – Is Ephraim not a treasured son to Me, My child of delights? As I speak of him, always, I remember him once more. And so it is that I long for him within, I will tender him compassion,” says the Lord.

שַׂמְּחֵֽנוּ Grant us joy, LORD our God, through Elijah the prophet Your servant, and through the kingdom of the house of David Your anointed – may he soon come and make our hearts glad. May no stranger sit on his throne, and may others not continue to inherit his glory, for You promised him by Your holy name that his light would never be extinguished. Blessed are You, LORD, Shield of David.

May their enemies be scattered and their foes flee before them, and may they rejoice in Your salvation. Bring them back safely to their homes, as is written: “The LORD will guard you from all harm, He will guard your life. The LORD will guard your going and coming, now and for evermore.” And may there be fulfilled for us the verse: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more.” Let all the inhabitants on earth know that sovereignty is Yours and Your name inspires awe over all You have created – and let us say: Amen.

**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2019:**
מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ May He who blessed our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, bless the members of Israel’s Defense Forces and its security services who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God, from the Lebanese border to the Egyptian desert, from the Mediterranean sea to the approach of the Aravah, and wherever else they are, on land, in air and at sea. May the LORD make the enemies who rise against us be struck down before them. May the Holy One, blessed be He, protect and deliver them from all trouble and distress, affliction and illness, and send blessing and success to all the work of their hands. May He subdue our enemies under them and crown them with deliverance and victory. And may there be fulfilled in them the verse, “It is the LORD your God who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to deliver you.” And let us say: Amen.

**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2019:**
מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ May He who blessed our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Joseph, Moses and Aaron, David and Solomon, bless, protect and guard the members of Israel’s Defense Forces missing in action or held captive, and other captives among our brethren, the whole house of Israel, who are in distress or captivity, as we, the members of this holy congregation, pray on their behalf. May the Holy One, blessed be He, have compassion on them and bring them out from darkness and the shadow of death; may He break their bonds, deliver them from their distress, and bring them swiftly back to their families’ embrace. Give thanks to the LORD for His loving-kindness and for the wonders He does for the children of men; and may there be fulfilled in them the verse: “Those redeemed by the LORD will return; they will enter Zion with singing, and everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” And let us say: Amen.
