**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2017:**
וַיְהִי בִּנְסֹֽעַ Whenever the Ark set out, Moses would say,
“Arise, LORD, and may Your enemies be scattered.
May those who hate You flee before You.”
For the Torah shall come forth from Zion,
and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Blessed is He who, in His holiness, gave the Torah to His people Israel.

בְּרִיךְ Blessed is the name of the Master of the Universe. Blessed is Your crown and Your place. May Your favor always be with Your people Israel. Show Your people the salvation of Your right hand in Your Temple. Grant us the gift of Your good light, and accept our prayers in mercy. May it be Your will to prolong our life in goodness. May I be counted among the righteous, so that You will have compassion on me and protect me and all that is mine and all that is Your people Israel’s. You feed all; You sustain all; You rule over all; You rule over kings, for sovereignty is Yours. I am a servant of the Holy One, blessed be He, before whom and before whose glorious Torah I bow at all times. Not in man do I trust, nor on any angel do I rely, but on the God of heaven who is the God of truth, whose Torah is truth, whose prophets speak truth, and who abounds in acts of love and truth. In Him I trust, and to His holy and glorious name I offer praises. May it be Your will to open my heart to the Torah, and to fulfill the wishes of my heart and of the hearts of all Your people Israel for good, for life, and for peace.

**English Edition; Koren Publishers Jerusalem, 2017:**
The LORD spoke to Moses saying: Speak to the children of Israel and tell them: I am the LORD your God. You must not follow the practices of the land of Egypt where once you dwelled, nor the practices of the land of Canaan to which I am bringing you; do not keep to their precepts. Practice My laws and keep My precepts; follow them – I am the LORD your God. Keep My precepts and My laws; one who practices them, shall live by them – I am the LORD. Let no man draw close to any one of his own flesh to uncover their nakedness – I am the LORD. Do not uncover your father’s nakedness; your mother’s nakedness: she is your mother – you may not uncover her nakedness. Do not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife: it is like uncovering your father’s. Do not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or the daughter of your mother, one born to your home or born elsewhere – do not uncover their nakedness. Do not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter or of your daughter’s daughter; do not uncover their nakedness, for it is your own nakedness. Do not uncover the nakedness of a daughter of your father’s wife, one born of your father: she is your sister – do not uncover her nakedness. Do not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister: she is of your father’s flesh. Do not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is of your mother’s flesh. Do not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother; do not draw near to his wife – she is your aunt. Do not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law: she is your son’s wife – do not uncover her nakedness. Do not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife: it is like uncovering your brother’s. Do not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter both; do not take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter to uncover their nakedness: they are her flesh – that is depraved. And do not take your wife’s sister as a wife to rival her, uncovering her nakedness as well as hers in her lifetime. Do not draw close to a woman to uncover her nakedness during her period of impurity. Do not give of your seed sleeping with the wife of another man, becoming impure through her. Do not give of your children to be passed before Molekh: do not desecrate the name of your God – I am the LORD. Do not lie down with a man as one lies down with a woman: that is an abominable act. Do not lie down with any animal, becoming impure through it; and no woman may stand in front of an animal to copulate with it – that is perversion. Do not become impure through any of these things, for by all these things the nations I am casting out before you became impure. And the land became impure – I made her suffer her iniquity – and the land spewed out her inhabitants. You must keep My precepts and My laws, and perform none of these abominations; no citizen and no stranger who abides among you. For the people of the land, who were there before you, performed all of these abominable acts, and the land became impure. Now do not cause the land to spew you out, by making her impure, just as she spewed out the people there before you. For anyone who performs any one of these abominations – such souls will be cut off from their people. And you must keep My charge, and never follow the abominable practices that were done before you; do not make yourselves impure through them – I am the LORD your God.

It is a tree of life to those who grasp it, and those who uphold it are happy. Its ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace. Long life is in its right hand; in its left, riches and honor. It pleased the LORD for the sake of [Israel’s] righteousness, to make the Torah great and glorious.
