<p>In this episode of the Thinking Talmudist Podcast (Ep. 27), Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe learns the Talmud from Tractate Shabbos 31a and discusses the story of a convert who approached Shamai and wanted to convert on condition that he would be appointed the Kohen Gadol, the High Priest.
